"Ladies and gentlemen, please make sure your safety belts are fastened as we are preparing to land in JFK International." The stewardess announced over the intercom system.

"This the worst part." I stated immediately grabbing Shawn's hand before I closed my eyes.

"It'll be over in a few seconds." Shawn reassured running his thumb over my knuckles.

I felt the a few slight bumps as we landed, but nothing too major thankfully. I had always hated landing, I just hated the sensation when it wasn't a clean landing.

It was another ten minutes before we could actually get off the plane, it was the late afternoon in New York but that didn't stop the airport from being hectic. I leaned against Shawn slightly with a yawn as we walked to collect our bags from the conveyor belt.

"I can't wait to be back in my own bed."

"Well I'm crashing with you tonight so you'll have to make room." Shawn told me and I raised my eyebrows at him.

"I don't remember inviting you..." I trailed while faking confusion.

"Well it's happening." Shawn confirmed with a smile.

"As long as I can have one of your hoodies?" I compromised, Shawn shook his head with laughter.

"I guess I don't mind losing another hoodie."

I fixed the hairband on my head, I spotted my suitcase and grabbed it off the conveyor belt. Shawn did the same a few seconds later when his came through, we headed with Shawn's security to a car waiting outside the terminal. The drive wasn't as long as I expected, we pulled into the parking garage of my building after forty minutes. Shawn pulled my suitcase as well as his despite my protests, we took the elevator up to my floor.

I rummaged through my purse for my keys for a minutes, I could see the panic on Shawn's face but I found them under my hair brush.

"Crisis averted." I stated and opened the door, I switched the lights on and walked into the living room.

It was mainly clean apart from a few old magazines scattered across the coffee table, I kicked off my shoes and flopped onto the couch with a tired yawn, Shawn joined me draping his arm around me.

I don't know what came over me as we sat there, but the overwhelming urge to kiss Shawn had entered my mind. So that's what I did, I grasped his face and swung my leg over to straddle him before I pressed my lips to his. I had definitely taken him by surprise because it took him a minute to respond, his hands dropped to rest on my lower back.
