Chapter 1

I run picking up my bag. I have to get away from this horrible town. I have to clear my name start fresh and new. I run to the airport where I have my fake ID.

My new name is Libby Walsh. I am seventeen years old and I have to get away from this back stabbing place.

"Mam you need to slow down. Now where are you headed?" A short flight attendant asked me. I walk faster and then stop to look at the woman.she has hazel eyes that look worn out and she looks as though she had been working here for 14 years.

"To get out of here. I need to go to California I have to get there." I mumble. She looks at me as if I am unstable or like I'm just plain crazy. She rolls her eyes and points me toward the direction of my gate.

"Are you alright mam?" She asks. I nod and walk to the gate before I could take one last look at the place I was giving up.

I go through the initiation. I walk on to the plain and put my bag away. I spot my seat and I look next to me.

"Hi I'm Shawn. I will be sitting next to you." A teenager with brown hair says. He is wearing a hoodie and jeans. He has dimples when he smiles.

"What is your name?" He asks while looking into my blue eyes. Instantly I say, "Eliza-" I stutter, "my name is Libby. Libby Walsh."

He looks at me hesitantly but his dimples reappear when he smiles at me. "Well Libby, sounds like you're trying to forget your old name so Libby is who you will be to me."

"I won't mean anything to you. I can't." I whisper and look out the window. The plain had just taken off and I had been to busy to notice that we were in the air.

"And why is that?" He asks. What am I supposed to tell him? That I can't let anyone in?

"Well I'm not normal I guess you could say." I announce to him as my eyes close tightly before I start crying.

"What if I said I don't want to have normal?"
