"chin-sun. that's my name," chin-sun replied without looking back and proceeded to walk off. as the boy smirked behind her.

the first day of school for chin-sun finally came to an end.

as she made her way home she made way towards her room.

"ohhhh no no no. come back here missy. you aren't getting off that easy," chin-sun's mother called out from the kitchen.

"shit," chin-sum mumble to herself.

chin-sun turned around from the staircase and slugged her way towards her mother.

"soooo, tell me. how was your first day at your new school? make any friends? how are your teachers? were they nice," chin-sun's mother bombarded her with questions.

"well... i did make one friend. at least i think? my teachers are okay, but they aren't comparable to the ones back in busan," chin-sun opened up.

"what do you mean... you "think" you made a friend," her mother questioned.

"well his name is mark, and we talked for about two minutes until one of his friends interrupted then drug him back to their own table," chin-sun answered.

"oh. well... was he cute," chin-sun's mother asked as she gave her a side smirk.

"oh.my.god. mom. please. stop," chin-sun begged.

"hey. it's just a question. plus you haven't dated anyone since... you know wh-" her mother began.

"yeah. um... no. i have homework. uhh love you mom," chin-sun quickly changed the subject and made a run for the stairs.

"on the first da-" her mother began once again.

"yep. love youuuu," chin-sun's voice trailed off as she went further up the stairs.

as she made her way into her room she closed the door. then proceeded to slide down the door hitting the floor.

her mother wasn't wrong. she hadn't dated anyone since her freshman year in high school.

she's a senior now.

2 1/2 years and it still hurts to even fathom the idea of her ex.

he broke her into a million pieces and it's taken her years to barely pick up them up. more or less put herself back together.

hopefully nobody will come in between that. she still needs healing.

chin-sun proceeded to stand up and plugged in her almost dead phone.

as she began to walk away to her bathroom to wash her thoughts away with a nice shower.

her phone spoke.

"𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨... 𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨... 𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨."
