Chapter 5:

Nathan's POV:

Fighting might be sudden for us, but at least, everything is all okay now.

"Nathan, stop dazing around this time now." and brother Elias placed the cold soda on my cheek. I flinched. "That was cold." I complained. He softly laughed. "Here, you did much work on helping me with chores" he handed me the drink. Of course, I accepted it and drank it, I'm thirsty plus the weather is really hot. No wonder brother Kendrick hates Sundays. "Do you have any homework for tomorrow's class?" he asked. "Hmmm, nothing really." I replied. "I see." He stood up and left. There, he left me all alone in the garden.

"Maybe I should go outside." I thought.

"Brother Kendrick!" I called him from the living room. He sat down and looked at me. "How about an arcade?" I asked. "I'll pass." And he lay down on the couch and continued his game. I sighed. "What's wrong?" brother Raze's arm was placed on my head and it was heavy. "I wanted to go outside, it's been a while though." I whined a little. He laughs. "Go change your clothes, let's go." He stated and went to his room and change.

"So, where are we going?" I asked brother Raze while riding in a train. "Le Blanc." He replied. "H-hey, isn't that supposed to be a café..?" I softly asked. "I liked their coffee there." He said.

This is new. I didn't knew that brother Raze also likes coffee, since I can only see him drinking alcoholic drinks all the time.

When we were about to leave on the bus station, "It's unusual to see you here, Nathan Brooke, Raze Brooke." We looked back and there we saw our student council president, Aurora Grey. "Aura.. right?" brother Raze asked.

Everything was filled with awkward silence and I was so embarrassed. But, President Aurora laughed. And then..

"President Aurora, what's wrong?"

A girl around the same age as us. Maybe she's one of the student council?

"Sh*t I got it all wrong..!" Raze muttered. "It's nothing, Evie. I only found Raze Brooke funny." And she continues on laughing. "Hmm?" that girl called "Evie" took a closer look of me. I stay away for a while since she's too close to my face. "You're Oliver's brother... right?" she asked. "Yeah, both of us.. Why?" I replied. "He recently told me that you had a fight, but I am really glad that everything goes well." she smiled.

Geez, I think... this is it.

"Tell me your godd*mn name you f*cking student council president!" Raze yelled at her. "Excuse me sir, but is that really how you treat a girl like that?" Evie got mad. "Evie, calm down, I know the reason why he didn't really remember other people's name." President Aurora managed to calm her down. "Reason?" I asked. "What reason President Aurora..??" Evie also asked. "I am not going to tell it you, since you're deeply emotionally connected to them." She replied. "May I ask where you are both going?" President Aurora asked both of us. "Le Blanc." Raze replied. "Oh, President Aurora! It's the same place where we going!" Evie said. "Can I lead the way?" Raze asked. "I wouldn't mind but, I already know the path or the ve-" President Aurora didn't have a chance to finished her sentence because brother Raze suddenly grabbed her hand and said softly "You're a girl, it's dangerous for you here, I'll protect you."

Uhm, is it just me or brother Raze raised a flag?

When we finally arrived at Le Blanc, I smell coffees and... a lot of pastry such as breads..??

"Oh, Raze! You came!" a man with an apron approached him. "Yeah, it's been a long time since I tasted your coffee." He grinned.

This is actually my first time seeing brother Raze this happy.

"Your.. brother?" the man asked. "Yeah, we have the same faces." He replied. "Anyways, have a seat." "A seat for four please?" President Aurora requested. "Oh, isn't this the daughter of the legendary detective Charles Grey?" he asked. "I appreciated that, but I don't have any privilege to accept that such title." She shyly replied. "Raze, come here for a 'sec." the man said and drag brother Raze to the authorized room. "Isn't that supposed to be.." Evie got confused. "Maybe the owner know Raze Brooke." President Aurora replied.

"GO GET THAT GIRL!" the man yelled at him while he pushed brother Raze towards President Aurora. "SHUT IT OLD MAN!" brother Raze replied to him angrily.

"Now, orders folks!" the man said. "I would like a jasmine tea and cinnamon bread." President Aurora stated. "I see, the usua-" "How about French Vanilla coffee instead of jasmine tea?" brother Raze suggested. "I mean, that's the best combination, based on what I thought." Brother Raze scratched his head. "Maybe this is my chance to drink coffee." She stated. "Then, French Vanilla coffee and cinnamon bread please?" she asked. "Got it!" "You?" the man was asking Evie. "Huh? Oh. Uhm." Evie was shaking and still looking at the menu. "How about getting the French Brunch?" brother Raze asked. "You can already get the drink, plus you get morning, lunch, and dinner and dessert meals." He stated. "Wow, uhm, that's a lot." Her voice softens. "I'll eat the rest." I told her. "Okay, now, you?" the man asked brother Raze. "Black coffee, as usual." He stated. "Your taste never change huh, even though you're an alcoholic man." He laughed and left.

When we got our orders, we ate and talk things out. Well, even though valentine's day is not yet here, it looks like a double date..

Wait, what?

Don't tell me...I like... Evie?!
