I added both Andre and Lauren's POV in this particular chapter so sit back and relax guys.
Andre's P.O.V:
It was a nice and lovely morning and I perceived that food was served. I looked at myself in the mirror and admired my handsome face. I played with my hair and stuck out my tongue in the mirror 'what a handsome guy I am. '
I moved over to where my phone was and decided to chat a little. It's been two years since I last saw Marla but we usually chatted.
>>Hi Andre,what's up?
<<I'm good and happy and glad and..I don't even know but I sure am happy.
>>I've got good news for you,you wanna hear it.
<<We aren't talking on phone so I wanna see the 'goodnews',not hearing it.
>>I've been adopted.
<<Congratulations to you girl...
>>And the next news is..I'm at your door.
<<Oh shut up, you're kidding, right?
>>I am not,come downstairs.
I ran downstairs still not trying to believe what Marla was getting at. I arranged my hair, walked to the kitchen,took a soda,then ran for the door,still not sure if Marla was there.
I opened the door and there she was,as beautiful as ever. Although I haven't seen her for a while,she will did not change a bit,but she had nice curves. I really missed Marla,but I just did not want to get involved with my past any longer.
"O...M...G.... Andre I missed you so much .." she said hugging me tightly.
"I equally missed you.."..I said withdrawing from her.
"Who's at the door?" Mom said peering from the sitting room.
"Come in Marla.." I said beckoning on her...." Mom this is Marla and we both grew up in the orphanage. "
" Oh hi dearie. Make yourself at home... Wait,I thought you said she was from the orphanage,so how did she end up in Texas. " Mom asked with her hands at akimbo.
"Yeah..um.." I said but was rudely interrupted by Marla.
"Ma'am,I was recently adopted and my foster parents brought me to Texas and I happen to know Andre's address. " She said locking her hands in mine.
Leave my hand alone. What's your problem,huh? Lord...help me... ..please..I need your mercy to overcome this thing.
"Right Andre?" Marla asked staring at me in my damn eye.
"Huh,what? I'm sorry right now I'm not in a good frame of mind. " I said removing my hands from hers.
"Where's Jordan? Jordan! Jordan!!" She yelled.
"Stop looking for Jordan,he's not here,he never will be, okay. Stop bringing back my past.
"What's wrong with you Andre?" She asked.
"He's been like that since we adopted him,I was told that he still feels mad concerning his parents' death,and concerning,you know who. " Mom said trying to speak on a hushed tone but I could hear every single word she said.
"Mom,shut up,okay? Stop meddling in my affair. " I said coldly and strolled out of the house.

Lauren's POV:
Two weeks later:
Finally,my test results finally came out and I was eagerly waiting and hoping for an A. Miss Emma came to the class wearing a smile.
"Good morning students. The test results are out guys and the best student is our student,Andre West,a round of applause students. " Miss Emma said smiling.
O boy,I've done well too..if this fool can pass the test,so can I.
"Also,the worst student is also a noble student of this class and I don't want to announce the name,or should I, Miss Lauren David. "
She did not just do that. My reputation,my pride. Why! How dare she?! The horror,I just cant stand this embarrassment.
By now,I was fully adorned with beads of sweat. Everyone was laughing,except ME. She then told us to come to her table to collect our results and when I got there:
"You've always been a shame,when will you ever sit up?" She asked with her hand on her chin.
I peered into my script and I saw a very big and intimidating 'F'.
"Well students, I have an idea, we're going to pair Lauren Andre,so she can improve academically. Just the two of you are paired." She said addressing me.
"I want to be paired with Lauren. " Josh yelled.
"Joshua,you came out 29th and she came out 30th,do you want to have paired failure,or do you want to make her a lot more duller?".
Shit! I have had enough.
"You're bluffing..." Josh yelled.
"Oh shut up,Joshua Michael. " Miss Emma fired back.
At the cafeteria, I sat down with Xander, while Andre walked up to me.
He's finally here to apologise for his evil deeds.
"If you're hear to beg, I'm not gonna forgive you. " I said looking into his eyes.
"Pfttt... " He scoffed.." I don't have any fucking plan of begging you. I have other things I've got to take care of,I'm just doing this because Miss Emma asked me to. Besides,our lessons starts today, after school. Since you're a detention person,I'll wait till you're done with it. I don't want you acting silly or..."
"Hey,hold your tongue. I'm not stupid, neither am I dull,I'm just lazy and I don't need your help."
"You need his help,it's obvious you don't want to graduate." Miss Emma chipped in.
"I don't need anyone's help,he's stupid..."I yelled and ran out of the cafeteria.
