The fox had wandered throughout the night and was growing tired. He decided to sleep on a tree, feeling safe and secure. He slept soundlessly.
Meanwhile Sonic the hedgehog was humming 'Escape From the City' while running through Angel Island. He stopped for a moment in Mushroom Hill, looking around at the beuaty and familiar sights, but he saw something off.
"Huh? What's this?" Sonic said as he goes near the tree the fox was in. He shook the tree.
The fox slowly woke up by the shake. "Woah!" He fell out of tree. "Ow....." The fox scratched his head and looked at the blue hedgehog.
Both stared at each other for a moment.
The fox looked shocked and terrified at Sonic, remembering what happened in his world.
"AAH!" He screamed, jumped up, and stepped one step back, shivering in fear. "D-don't k-kill me!"
Sonic looked at the fox, confused.
"I'm not gonna hurt you, buddy why would I do that?"Sonic asked
The fox took a better look at Sonic. "Oh, you're not him...that's good."
Sonic wondered who the fox was talking about, but decided to think about it later. He scratched his head.
The fox looked down. "So who are you?"
Sonic rubbed his nose confidently. "I'm Sonic. Sonic the hedgehog. And you?"
The fox thought for a moment. "Star!Tails..."
"Star!Tails," Sonic replied. "That's a nice name. Well, come on! I'll show you my friends!"
Sonic took Star!Tails's hand and rushed off. The fox was shocked and anxious while he was being rushed off.
