Jo's POV
I walked up the stairs of Bricks house. He invited me and my family to celebrate the holidays with him and his family. I honestly don't know why but I accepted and so did my family. Hopefully they don't kill him. Oh yeah my family is all guys. I have 5 brothers all older than me. My mom Fiona died when I was young due to a car accident. My aunts and my grandma passed before I was born and I don't have any female cousins. Thankfully it was just me my dad and my brothers. "Sis remind me again why we're here." My 17 year old brother Kaden told me. We were the same age but we were born in different months. He was born in September and I was born in October.

"Come on Kaden he's my friend please behave." I told him. "He's your friend so why'd you drag us along with you?" My 18 year old brother Jake asked. He and my other brother Jack are twins both super annoying. "Because we're her family." My 20 year old brother Mason answered. Mason loved me to death and sometimes it was a little embarrassing. "I only came here because I was forced to against my will." My 19 year old brother Andy told us. "Shut up and behave please he's my friend okay." I told them. I knocked on the door and no surprise Brick answered. He was wearing a green seater that was similar to mine except mine was red. "Jo glad you could make it." Brick smiled.

"Glad to be here." I smiled. "We're not." Jake laughed. I turned around and glared at him. "You guys coming?" Brick asked. I smiled and walked in with my brothers and my dad. "Brick is that your friend." A woman asked. "Yes mom. Jo this my mom Kelly Mcarther." Brick smiled. "Hello you're Jo the girl my son is always telling us about?" Mrs Mcarther asked. "Yep." I smiled. "Brick would you call your siblings down?" Mrs Mcarther asked. "Sure mom." Brick smiled. Brick went up stairs and came back down with his siblings. And I mean he had a lot of siblings. He told me he had a lot of brothers and sisters but this isn't what I had in mind.

"Jo these are the oldest Layla and Kane." Brick smiled. Layla had blonde hair and dark brown eyes while Kane had brown hair in the same style as Bricks hair and cold ice blue eyes. "Jessica and Jade who are twins." Brick continued. "Riley who is the same age as me but born in a different month Maya and Issac who are also twins Makayla Adam Levi Hannah and Aiden." Brick finished. "Wow you have a lot of sibling Jarhead." I told him. Kane started laughing at the nickname at which Layla punched his arm. "Hey Jo great to finally meet you." Riley smiled. "You too Riley." I smiled back.

"Umm Brick would you show Jo around while I talk to her family?" Bricks mom asked. "Sure mom." Brick answered. He walked me to his room which was exactly what I thought it would look like. Photos of him and his family and the room was army green. He sat down on his bed and motioned for me to join him. I sat down next to him and neither of us spoke. I started to feel uneasy like there was a knot in my stomach. I guess it's because Brick is my best friend and being alone with him makes me kinda nervous. "Umm Jo there's something I wanted to tell you." Brick told me. Oh god is he about to say what I think he's about to say?

"What is it?" I asked. "I i I love you." Brick answered. I felt heat rising in my cheeks. It felt like my face was on fire. I didn't know what to say at all. I looked down at my hands but Brick lifted my chin up to make me look at him. My eyes moved up and I saw him holding a mistletoe over our heads. I smirked at him before I kissed him. I was shocked he kissed back. "Nice move bro." A voice laughed. I turned my head and saw my family and Bricks family standing in the door way. My face was probably bright red. "How long have you been standing there?" Brick asked. "Long enough." My dad answered. "We've been calling you two down stairs for the past fifteen minutes." Mason told me.

"We'll be down in a minute." I told them. They all walked away leaving me and Brick alone. "Well that was awkward." Brick smiled. "Yeah but who cares?" I asked. Brick shrugged and stood up. "Come on we don't want to keep them waiting." Brick smiled. I stood up with him and walked down stairs. Best Christmas ever.
