Addie sat in complete shock for the next few seconds.

"Did you seriously just piss yourself?"

She looked down.

Yes.

"H-hey Jo? Can you drive me home?"

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know. Just take me home."

"Well I'm not sitting in that pee, I can tell you that right now."

She huffed and started the engine again.

"Fine. I'll take you home, but I don't know how well I can drive. Honestly, I have to do everything in this friendship."

"Thank you." She replied.

"Do you have any disinfect wipes? Because I already told you I'm not-"

"They're in the glove department."

"Well, get up and sit in the other seat. Ugh, it reeks in here." He made a barfing noise.

"This is so embarrassing."

"What did you do it for? And what's up with your voodoo hand thing?"

"Didn't you see it?"

"See what?"

"The purple glowing."

He gave her a strange look.
"No..."

"WELL I DID. It was so freaky, oh my gosh. I literally couldn't breathe and-"

"I think you need help."

She but her lip in frustration, and sat back.

"So get up!" Jo commanded.

She rolled her eyes and have him a death glare.

On the way to her house, Addie had a sudden outburst.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T SEE IT?! IT WAS A PURPLE FRICKIN BALL OF GLOWINGNESS RIGHT INFRONT OF MY FACE AND IT TALKED TO ME TOO HOW COULD YOU NOT SEE IT WHAT ARE YOU BLIND THIS IS THE SCARIEST THING I'VE EVER BEEN THROUGH AND YOUR TELLING ME-"

"That you've lost your mind. Now calm down, we're almost home, and we can explain this to your mother."

"She wouldn't believe me either." Addie muttered.

"And I don't blame her."

As soon as Joe pulled into the driveway, a thought hit him.

"How will I get home?"

"Walk. You could use the exercise."

Not wanting a reply, she walked into her house and ran to the bathroom. After getting a shower, she put her clothes in the washer, and turned on the tv. Searching for a good show to watch, she finally decided on Frasier.

Eating chocolate and thinking about the purple glowing, the doorbell rang. She bounced up from the couch and walked to the door, finding a note sliding underneath it.

Opening the door to nothing, she cautiously picked up the envelope, and read the front.

Adelaide Mitchell:
You have 4 days left in this world. Use them wisely.

Her eyes bulged out of their sockets. With her mouth hanging open, she peered out the door again.

"H-hello?"

She stepped outside. Hearing whispers, her legs went stiff.

"Who's there?"

Seeing nothing, she unconsciously backed inside and closed the door.

Her mind completely empty, she was still backing up and ran into a wall, snapping herself out of the daze.

She slid down the wall an sunk into the carpet as far as she could go. It was happening. It was real. Her dreams were real. She was leaving.

Burying her head into her knees, she started crying.
