Clink, clank
I got thrown in the tank
Scritch, scratch
Here comes another batch
Of misfits and miscues
This isn't a ruse.
Pepper spray, mace
We all occupy space
Consuming air and gas
What this world has
Is a number for us
And a jumbled rebus
To solve
As it revolves
We are all involved
In this think tank.
Wet mush
There's a pile of leaves
Slip, slide
My tires say screech
As I apply my brakes
Please God, whatever it takes!
Yells, screams
The ambulance teams
Pushing with full sail
Trying to avoid the wails
That are inevitable
When we live in a jungle
Of lies
And automatic replies
Is it any surprise
That I'm in the think tank?
Long gone
Are the pictures I've drawn
Too many
Thoughts for a penny
They fill my brain
And keep me sane.
So sorry
I know it sounds shoddy
Terrible tragedy
Your son was just 23,
Desperate despair
I can not repair
Or mend
When a life ends
So many people depend
On lessons from the think tank.
