On Saturday afternoon Blaze came and knocked at the front door. Once I opened it he said,"Oh, hey. Ummm... Some friends and I are gonna go to the mall for a bit, and since we're friends I thought maybe if you wanted to, you could also come."
"Ummm..." I said," Well, Okay. Sure. Just let me get a couple items."
I ran inside to grab my hoody and my phone and ran right back outside. "I'm ready."
"Okay. Let's go." He said.
We got in the car and he asked if I wanted to put some music on and if so what station.
"94.5the buzz." I ask.
"Sure. Anything for you." He said.
I started to blush. Then at a red light, he looked me in the eyes and said,"Can I ask you a question?"
"Yah. Sure." I answered back.
"Are you free tomorrow? I mean tomorrow I'm going to go see a movie tomorrow and I wanted to know if you would go with me?" He asked then added," Just as friends."
"Oh, yah. Sure I guess." I answered. I was kinda disappointed. I thought he was gonna ask me out.
Once we arrived at the mall, we meet up with his friends and Cilia.
"Hey, us guys will go get some drinks. Y'all girls just talk or something." One of Blaze's friends said.
"Listen up Jocelyn. Leave my cousin alone. You don't deserve him. So leave Blaze alone or else." Cilia threaten me."Oh hey cuz cuz."
"Hey C." Blaze said.
The rest of the time at the mall I tried my best to keep a distance from Blaze since Cilia was with us. I don't know why, but Cilia wasn't always so rude to me. We use to be friends, but it changed one day. A couple hours later Blaze took me home. He asked why I didn't talk to him much, but I didn't answer him.
I gave him a piece of paper before leaving the car that read:

Blaze: Hey it's Blaze.
Me: Oh Hi.
Blaze: We still going to the movies tomorrow?
Me: Yah.
Blaze: What You Doing?
Me: Watching music videos.
Blaze: Cool.
Me: I guess. So what about you?
Blaze: Thinking.
Me: About?
Blaze: Someone.
Me: Who?
Blaze: I got to go Jocelyn. Night.
