Chapter 10| Hide n' Seek

Sam's POV

Today, I was having Colby and our friends come over. I wanted to film a video of hide n seek in my apartment. I called everyone over. Even Tara was coming, which was great. It was nice having her around. I heard a knock at my door. I walked over and opened it.

There revealed Katrina and Angelina. "Hey, babe." Kat said as she pecked my lips. "Hey, Angelina." I said as I hugged her. She hugged back."Hola, Sam." She said Hi in Spanish. Angelina was half white, half Mexican. Sometimes she would speak Spanish to the boys and I. We would be so lost on what she was saying. She always found it funny.

We sat down on my couch and watched TV, waiting for the others. I left my door unlocked so everyone can just walk in. "Wassup, truckers." Jake said as he walked in. Tara walked in as well. "Tara!" Kat and Angelina said at the same time as they ran up to her. "Hey girls." Tara said she hugged back. Then Kat and Angelina greeted Jake.

We were all talking, then the front door opened. Revealing Kevin and Mike. We were still waiting on Colby. But he's usually the last one to show up. We were all just sitting around, laughing, eating. Suddenly I felt the couch sink in between Angelina and I. It was Colby.

"About time, Bruva." I said looking at him. He chuckled. "Did you only come late so you can be the last to show up and not be noticeable?" Angelina asked as she laughed. "Yeah, it works every time." We all laughed at his comment. I sat up from the couch. "Alright,guys..." I clapped my hands. "You guys ready to play a game of night Hide n Seek!" I said a bit loudly. Everyone cheered jokingly. "Let's get started." I said as I grabbed my camera.

"What is up guys! Today I am joined by, Mike, Katrina, Angelina, Colby, Jake, Tara and Kevin." I said as my intro, turning the camera to all my friends. They waved at the camera. I turned it back to me. "We are going to be playing a game of Hide n Seek, at night! I am going to be the seeker but...I'm going to be blindfolded." I explained. "I will also have a nerf gun and I will shoot if I find someone. If the bullet hits them, they are out." I explained once again.

"Alright, you guys have 5 minutes to hide. I'm going outside to give you guys time." I said walking towards the door. Everyone got up from the couch, waiting for me to exit. I shut the door behind me.

Angelina's

As soon as Sam shut the door. Everyone started going all over the place to hide. Jake and Kevin lifted up Tara into the cabinet above the fridge. Of course, she fit, she is 4'11. I am pretty short too. I'm only 5'1. I decided to hide inside the cabinet under the sink. Everyone else was already hiding as well. After about 5 minutes, Sam came in. "Ready or not, Here I come!" Sam shouted. He walked towards the living room first. Katrina kept quiet since she was hiding on top of the couch, in a corner.

"Oh, whoever is hiding near the couch, off limits. Only people who are out can sit here." I wonder what Kat was gonna do. I'm not sure if she moved since Sam said that. Suddenly I heard Sam coming towards the kitchen. I bit down on my tongue to not make any noise. I then heard Kevin laughing. He was found. He was hiding on top of the kitchen counter.

"Kevin is out!" Sam said. I started to hear the cabinet doors opening. Shit, he was going to find me. He opened the cabinet doors where I was hiding. I stood very still. Good thing I was deep into the cabinet. He started moving the gun back and forth. Suddenly, I heard something being thrown across the living room. Sam got up. I looked up towards Tara, smirking. She's the one that threw something to save me. Thank Tara for that one.
