As I hurried out of the Rodent's Gazette with Thea, I bumped into Benjamin. Benjamin was my favourite nephew. He was kind to everyone and very smart too.

Benjamin said brightly as he saw us, "Uncle G! Aunt Thea! How are you?"

I replied quickly, "Benjamin, I have to rush to an adventure..."

But that caught Benjamin's interest. He asked, "Uncle Geronimo, I want to come with you on your adventure!"

I paused. How could I say no to my favourite nephew?

I said to Benjamin sternly, "Do you promise to stay safe at all times?"

Benjamin nodded his head fervently. "Of course I promise, Uncle G! May I please come with you?"

I said, "Of course, Benjamin. Let's go!"

Thea said, "Ok, there's no time to lose. Let's get to the Mouse Island beach. I'll tell you more on the way."

So I headed to the beach with my sister Thea and Benjamin.

Thea took out the keys to her car, and sat into the driver's seat. Benjamin asked to sit upfront, and I sat in the back.

Did I tell you? Thea was always a fast and aggressive driver, even when she was riding her tricycle!

She was stepping hard on the accelerator and I could feel my breakfast dancing in my stomach.

Within minutes, I felt myself turning a light green.

"Ugh..." I groaned, "I'm starting to feel sick..."

"Ok, don't worry," Thea shouted, "I'll go faster to we can get this ride over with!"

"Wait..." I started to moan, but Thea had already zoomed the car even faster, and I lost my squeak.

I felt my fur turn a chameleon green, a papaya green, and a pistachio green.

"Oh...!" I hung my head between my knees. "I am not... feeling well..."

Benjamin turned to me, "Uncle G, open the window! It will help you!" He had already rolled down the windows in the front.

I followed Benjamin's advice and rolled down the window. Thanks to the fresh air, and a few red traffic lights that slowed down Thea's driving, I managed to get to the beach without reversing my breakfast.

I signed in relief, and leaned on the car as I got out.

I never want to ride in Thea's car again! It was worse than a roller coaster!

I looked as Thea and Benjamin ran towards the seashore. I saw there was a big submarine, ready to go.

Out of the submarine, I saw a familiar figure walk out. It was my cousin Trap! Oh dear. Trap always liked to play tricks on me, and make fun of me.

Here he was, ready with the submarine and I still didn't know anything about the adventure.

Oh why, oh why was I always the last one to know?
