May 23, 1990, was a date I’ll never forget. On that Wednesday afternoon, I received a call from my agent with “extraordinary news.” Appearing at #8 on the New York Times mass market paperback list was MIRROR IMAGE. It was my first. How significant is that to a writer? It was a career boost like none other. I was no better a writer on May 22nd than on May 23rd, but I was perceived so by readers and people within my industry. To this day, many readers who “discovered” me and became fans with MIRROR IMAGE, still proclaim it their favorite. So, it seemed a natural choice to serialize here on Wattpad.
