Cali's Story (COMPLETED)

continuation of last chapter:
"What did you say?" Alex asked, acting clueless.

This clown...

"I asked did you wanna be my partner for the class project?" She asked again.

"We have projects in this class?" He asked and I smacked my lips.

She nodded, and Alex nodded.

"Oh okay... well no because my partner is Cali." Alex stated, and I smirked on the inside.

By this time her friend had came over. Yasmine furrowed her eyebrows at the mention of my name.

"Cali... her? Cali? Out of all females?" She asked.

Alex raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah Cali.. why not Cali?" He asked.

"I mean nothing but look at her and look at me." She gestured herself.

Alex crosses his buff arms. "Look at you Yasmine.. what is there to look at Yasmine?" He asked and I laughed.

She looked at me with the 'I know you didn't' eyes.

I sighed internally and prepared myself for her negative words.

"Cali I don't know why you're laughing. Don't you supposed to be pregnant? Is it his or Eddie's?" She asked, making the whole class laugh which was about 50 people.

I looked at her and furrowed my eyebrows.

How on earth did she know that?

"Yea, I overheard you at the clinic with the doctor." She crossed her arms.

"Well atleast I'm woman enough to step up and take responsibility...unlike you.. isn't this your fourth abortion?" I said standing up, getting on her level.

"No atleast I'm woman enough to not let a 45-year old impregnate me and bear the crap out of me." She said, and I punched her dead in the face repeatedly for about a good 30 seconds before Alex started pulling me off of her.

"Cali! Cali! That's enough!" He yelled, and roughly grabbed my arms, then pulled me out of the door.

"What is your problem? Are you stupid or just dumb?" He asked pushing me into the girl's bathroom.

There were two girls in there and they hurriedly ran out.

I looked at him and scrunched my face up at his choice of words.

"Okay Alex.. I get it." I mumbled.

"No! Obviously you don't! You are 3 months going on 4 months pregnant!" He yelled, literally to the top of his lungs.

"I know that Alex!" I yelled back getting mad myself.

"Obviously you don't if you out here fighting!" He yelled back.

"Alex did you not hear what she said about me?! She put my name through the dirt! She just told 50 something people my business! You expect me not to fight?" I yelled pushing past him, and walked out the bathroom.

He pulled me back and I yanked away from him.

He pinched his temple and sighed roughly. "I'm sorry for yelling at you like that.. but you can't go out fighting people like that, that know you are pregnant? What if she hit you in the stomach?" He asked making me smack my lips.

"I wasn't gone let her—"

"That's not what I asked, Cali. Does anything hurt?"

"No." I mumbled.

"Are you sure?" He asked again.

"Yes Doctor Alex." I playfully rolled my eyes, and headed back to the classroom.

He was right on my tail when I entered the classroom to get our things since the bell was about to ring in a matter of seconds.

As soon as it sounded, the teacher called us and Yasmine back.

"Alex, Cali, and Yasmine bring your belongings and come with me." The teacher said and walked out the door, and started walking towards the main office.

We all walked in and Amanda and the secretary were talking.

"Umm.. is the principal busy right now?" She asked cutting their conversation short.

Amanda looked and her eyes immediately on Yasmine's who had a black eye and a now bruised nose. She then looked over at me and furrowed her eyebrows.

"What in the world is going on?" She asked, as she tried to examine Yasmine's face, but she took her hand away from her face.

"I'm okay. Ms. Thompson what are we here for?" Yasmine asked putting her hand on her hip.

Ms. Thompson looked at the three of us with an aggravated look and sighed.

"Never mind.. get out." She said pushing us to get out the office.

I laughed and Alex laughed along with me.

"Cali and Alex.. y'all follow me." She said hitting Alex.

We both followed her to her office and closed the door.

"So which one of y'all wanna tell me what happened?" She asked sitting behind her desk.

"Cali and Yasmine—well Cali was punching Yasmine—I mean hard up punching this g—"

"Get to the point Alex!" Amanda scolded him, making me laugh.

"Alright dang! Yasmine was talking mess about her being pregnant for Eddie a 50 some year old man." He said, and I cut my eyes at him.

"My bad, baby." He apologized, and Amanda sighed.

"Are you okay? Does anything hurt? And are you in any pain?" She asked and I shook my head.

"I would be much better if I had some more strawberries!" I laughed.

"You're going to turn my baby into a strawberry." Amanda fussed making me laugh.

"Oh my gosh! You're so dramatic." I exclaimed.

"Go to class both of you!" She yelled, and Alex and I both headed out to class.
