margaret threw herself at the woman, almost dropping her but she held herself up successfully. "i haven't seen you in years!" she cried out as she hugged the lady.
y/n sighed softly. "i promise i'll make it up to you but right now we need to find gilthunder and meliodas," she told them.
the girls nodded and y/n heard footsteps. "you girls go that way, i'll meet you somewhere along the way... hawk keep them safe," y/n told the pig who nodded quickly.
y/n ran down the hall, ignoring the calls of the girls behind her. just as she was going to make it outside someone appeared in front of her.
some type of gas floated in front of her which made her halt. "i know where you are and i'll find you," was all that came from the gas and she seemed to pause all together.
she knew exactly who it was. zeldris.
y/n shook her head and ran out of the door, seeing meliodas and some orange haired kid. fighting up against gilthunder and hendrickson.
as soon as she saw the man her heart seemed to drop from her chest to her feet. "it really is him," she whispered to herself as she watched meliodas hit hendrickson very hard.
she couldn't do anything, no matter how long she longed for this moment. there could be nothing done about it because of him.
he was the one who demanded that her powers be stripped of her. now she was just some useless human being, she didn't even have her sword with her.
"y/n!" she heard and blinked only to see the orange haired boy flying right towards. her instincts kicked in and she held her arms out, successfully catching the boy before he hit a wall.
her back hit the wall harshly but she quickly caught her breath. she was so used to it from when her and meliodas used to battle.
she was thankful that she still had some of the strength she had when she had her powers. "you!" she yelled as she helped the boy up and stared right at hendrickson.
the man looked at her with a smirk on her face as she felt nothing but pure anger as she stared at the smug look on his face. "gilthunder!" they suddenly heard and turned to see margaret standing at the top of a building that was in ruins.
y/n's eyes widened as she watched the lady yell something she couldn't quiet understand since all she could hear was the pumping of her heart. tears were streaming down margaret's face as she looked at the love of her life.
suddenly her heart stopped as she watched margaret step over the edge. "margaret!" she screamed as she rushed over as she felt her heart pounding against her ribs.
meliodas grabbed y/n by the waist and pulled the girl into him just as gilthunder caught the woman. she took a deep exhale as meliodas held her.
he could feel her heart beating so hard that he was sure it would pop. "it's okay, i've got you now,"!meliodas whispered which made her heart slow down, calming her quickly.
