— her dad is korean, while her mom is chinese, which makes her half korean and half chinese. xiuying was born in wuhan, a chinese city, but at the age of 4, her family moved to a korean city busan. her dad always played some k-pop songs to his daughter, so she naturally liked k-pop ever since she was a child, but he never knew she would pursue a career as a k-pop idol. xiuying then moved into seoul, where she started training under jellyfish entertainment.

— xiuying is overall a very bubbly, fun and energetic person. she loves doing aegyo and is an optimist. however, she is easily disappointed in herself. a lot of people could even call her a crybaby, because she cries quite easily and is very emotional and sensitive.
