If I'm a Werewolf Princess, why are Vampires making my life so difficult?

Ch. 43-Simply Ended.

 "I now pronounce you husband and wife," the pastor said as the happy couple kissed. I squeezed my recently wedded husband's hand and he squeezed it back. I looked around and still got the looks I did a year ago when I was a werewolf. It's been a year since we killed Isaiah's uncle and he took the throne.

After my very painful vampire transformation more secrets were revealed about Isaiah. I was supposed to be dead since a vampire bit me but a werewolf raped Isaiah's great grandmother on his mother's side during her transformation into a vampire. In those last moments of her werewolf life she became pregnant and gave birth to Isaiah's grandmother. The reason I lived is because Isaiah has werewolf blood running through his veins.

Now Isaiah and I rule as King and Queen of the vampires. Many accepted Isaiah as king but I of course had to work hard to gain the vampire's respect. It also doesn't hurt that I'm a skilled warrior. I'm still trying to get the vampires and werewolves to see eye to eye.

"Dee you look beautiful," I said as I kissed her cheek. Dee was grinning from ear to ear and was clutching her new husband's arm. "Thank you! Tim and I are so excited that this is finally over," Dee said. This was Dee and Tim's wedding and I helped with the planning of course. The only reason I declined to be her maid of honor was because of the pack members. They would never accept me because I defied all the rules of mythical creatures.

I released Tim as my personal protector but we're still close. After Dee mourned Prince Joran's death for two week night and day, refusing to eat, Tim went in to comfort her. That's when he realized they were mates. That is a story on its own but I passed my crown to Dee since legally she was a Miyako Princess. Tim is the Miyako king to be now and I couldn't be happier for the couple.

"Dee I still can't believe you're married! What happened to our girls only life," Amanda asked while giving Dee a big hug. "Girls only? You know you would miss me," Ethan said and Amanda rolled her eyes. Amanda and Ethan still had an on/off relationship but their wedding is supposed to be in two months. In fact Isaiah, who remained good friends with Ethan, told me recently that Ethan was planning to propose to Amanda.

I guess Ethan wants to show that he wants to marry Amanda because he loves her and not because of the arranged marriage. Amanda has continued her battle training and has become quite the warrior. She promises to beat me one day. We shall see.

Ms. Tiff lives in the palace with Isaiah and me. Mr. Troy prefers his privacy but agreed to move out of the Ms. Tiff's shop's closet. I look to my right and Mr. Troy's first in line for a piece of cake. He and Ms. Tiff in my eyes have been developing a romantic relationship. Isaiah says that my mind is too imaginative.

Elliott left the night of the party leaving Amanda crying for hours. I personally haven't heard anything from Elliott but Amanda recently told me that he's doing well. "Oh my baby give me a hug," Dad said and I looked over his shoulder. More looks of disgust came my way. I hugged dad back and he stepped back to look me over.

Apparently Dad knew that Isaiah was somehow a werewolf and that he was my mate from the beginning. He never said anything about it to me because he thought I should enjoy the adventure. "You take care of my princess or else I'll have to come after you," Dad said half joking and half serious. "Daddy I can fight my own battles," I said.

"That's right my little warrior. Your mother and I are so proud of you. You must visit often or else your poor papa will be heartbroken," dad said and I smiled. Even though I was a vampire dad treated me as his daughter. Mom and Dad were shocked in the beginning when I told them about Isaiah taking the crown and they were speechless when I told them what happened between Edmund and me. We don't talk about that anymore.

No one has heard any new news about Claire. The latest I heard about her was that she went to America in hopes of marrying a very wealthy vampire. I heard that she was successful in the marriage but her husband soon died of a heart attack leaving Claire millions in insurance money. I saw Percy and Primula at a party during the summer. I briefly talked to Percy and he said all was well with him and his sister.

I heard that the twins were also marrying twins from another water nymph kingdom. It was an arranged marriage but at least everyone in the two relationships are still living. "Dance with me Keiko," Isaiah said and pulled me into his arms. "I don't have much of a choice now do I," I asked while rocking side to side. Isaiah grinned and kissed my lips gently. My story ended with family, friends, happiness, and love. Isn't that the way all things should end?
