The stupid butler was dragging me down the hallway as I hollered at him to let me go, only for him to tighten his grip on my forearm. I continued to struggle within his hold as I held onto the corner of the wall.
"Ah!" I yelped as Sebastian threw me over his shoulder. A wave of heat gathered to my face as I felt the burning feeling of irritation and embarrassment as he placed his hand against my arse. I fought harder desperately trying to make him drop me but to no avail, the man had a grip of steel. I had a far fetched idea but at this point, anything was a 'go' if it meant escaping this place. Grabbing strands of his hair I jerked his head back as hard as I could. He flinched but made a sharp recovery. Promptly he Swerved his head in my direction in a strange manner. It looked painful how quickly his head snapped in my direction. His swirls of honey held a fit of fiery anger that would rival that of a Satans. He was brisk to put me back on my feet. Taking this as the perfect time to escape, I made a quick dash towards the end of the hallway. I didn't even make it an inch away from him before he grabbed my hair and pulled me against him.  Hissing in pain as I clawed at his wrist, a wretched plea for him to stop.
"Oh my," Sebastian jeered nonchalantly tugging harder on my hair. "You seem to be uncomfortable."
Not a moment later he was hauling me down the corridor.
Finally, we stopped in front of a door which led to yet another simple yet intricate designed room. Not as extravagant as the last room, which meant we were in the servants quarters. The room felt like a blank canvas. There were no decorations, knick-knacks, nothing that symbolized that someone lived in it. There were only a few spare objects; a wardrobe, a bed, and a small desk. There was dust accumulating everywhere! You could see it, smell it, and taste it if you inhaled too hard.
"Is this your room?" I interrogated as he let go of my hair. He nodded his head as he swiped his finger across his desk, picking up dust.
"This will be your room, for now, seeing as I rarely use it" He clarified. "Also, you'll be working as a maid here. I'll bring you the uniform-"
"Excuse me!?" I shouted furiously. He arched a brow as he stared at me unimpressed. He seemed to be already over the situation as he looked at me in a bored manner.
"Did you really think that you would stay here, experiencing every luxury that a guest would?" He accused as he stalked closer, power radiating off this man in bursts.
"No, but-" I began only to be cut off by the hot-headed butler as he frowned in distaste. As he came closer I backed away until my back hit the wall.
"But nothing!" he fumed. "You are not a guest here, your nothing but an uncooperative lead." He sneered stopping a few feet from me.
"You're right, " I sassed as I took long strides until I was right in front of him, invading his personal space. "I am an uncooperative lead and I can't wait to watch you both waste your time while the killer finds another victim." I mocked as he glared down at me.
"Oh?" He snickered a smirk forming on his lips. "Then that victim's death is on your head." he countered. I glared at him his eyes never leaving mine in an unspoken challenge. It was obvious that I was defeated. He was right if I didn't help them someone else would die because of me. Because of me. Nevertheless, was it worth risking my safety?
Eventually, he sighed and looked away as he pinched the bridge of his nose, anger still resident in those tiger eyes. He strode towards the door however, just as he was about to leave he turned his head back and shot me a warning look.
"Don't think of running!" he announced a dangerous gleam in his eyes.
"And if I do?" I challenged crossing my arms against my chest, no doubt my pride on display.
"I'll catch you." he retorted before leaving. I scoffed at him rage tumbling off me in tidal waves. So what if he said he'd catch me? 'I'll be damned if I don't at least try' I thought to myself recalling the last time I ran away from him. But how? There was a large window, big enough for me to climb out of; I could tie the curtains and the bedsheets together to create a rope however, would it hold my weight? Welp, No time like the present to find out! I tied one end of the 'rope' to the bedpost hoping for the best I jumped out. I clenched my eyes shut in anticipation of any pain yet to come. Surprisingly, nothing happened. The rope was long enough to reach the floor. So I seemed to be fine.
Making a beeline for the trees, I failed to notice the blond-haired boy watching me.

I didn't waste any time, racing through the forest refusing to stop despite my lungs screaming for air and the heavy nauseous feeling I felt in the pit of my stomach. Up ahead, I could see a stone wall that extended to the west and east sides of the manor, lining the edge of their home. Hastily, I scaled the wall, as soon as I had my leg draped over the side of it I felt someone pull me down. Immediately,  an explosion of scorching pain unraveled throughout my entire body as my back hit the ground with a painstaking SMACK! I hissed as my eyes met Sebastians.
"What did I say about running?" Sebastian chided his voice dark and threatening as he picked me up and began dragging me back to the estate. I glared at him as I struggled against him. No matter what I did he wasn't phased in the least. It infuriated me to no end! I would punch him, kick him, scream, curse, even hold onto nearby trees! The man would put up with it and just proceed to drag me along.

Instead of bringing me inside, we went somewhere else. The smell of something sickeningly sweet entered my nose as he slammed me on the ground for kicking his head. Flowers? Had he just slammed me into a bed of flowers? I whimpered as tears began to blur my vision, as he curled my arm behind my back. I shrieked up at him as he tightened his grip.
"When will you ever learn?" The man above me muttered to himself "There is no point in struggling, you will stay here until the young master says otherwise" he said harshly, pulling me to my feet, forcing me to walk. If it weren't for the fact that my arm was pulsing in pain, I would've been in awe at the view before me. The garden had an assortment of gorgeous flowers. Each a different color that complimented one another beautifully. There were vines of ivy growing on the side of the mansion. It gave the faint and grim manor a pop of life, a swirl of color. In the distance, you could hear the faint whistle of birds. In all honesty, it made for a stunning sight.
"You again?" Ciel huffed taking in my bruised and mud-caked form. He was having tea outside. He took a sip of his tea watching me through his lashes wholly amused by my state.
"My lord if I may?" Sebastian queried his voice smooth and professional a stupid smile on his face. Ciel nodded.
"If you are going to keep her here, may I suggest that she be under constant surveillance, " he announced his eyes sharp and deadly as he scowled at me. "She's quite the troublemaker, already escaping her room and attempting to scale the stone walls."
Ciel tilted his head in concentration as he took his words into consideration as he eyed me over his cup of tea.
"Very well," Ciel said mischievously. "You'll be the one to watch her" he continued finding entertainment in the way the latter's eye twitched. Before Sebastian could interject Ciel quickly added that since he is so capable, that's he's perfect for the job.
"Madam Red and Lau will be here shortly, have this, " he started his eyes drifting over to me "taken care of."
The butler nodded as he pulled me into the manor.
