Something was not right. They each looked at each other before taking off. She rose up and jumped to the ground. Adernalin coursing through her.
There where noises near the to the outside. The people manged to open it. And who ever they were where bad. Very very bad. The lights turned from the bright yellow to dimm white casting darker shadows into the room.
She waited in a dark to see the people. There was one then another. Men dress in shades of grey suits and heads cover with a mask. Thump. Something land on the ground. Gas. She rush to her room.
In the closet and up to the very top. There she laid still wait for the men to leave. Don’t find me. Don’t find me. She keep on thinking.
Este. Her name revebend through her mind. Her eye’s flashed open.
Damain. She thought back.
Stop hidding and get out. We’re leaving. She closed her eyes and nodded her head. She could do it.
Get out now. She felt Damain push her out. And knew she had to listen to him.
With worry and fear. She climbed out, grabed her backup backpack and walked out. Seeing the men she stopped unable to move. The men then spoted her.
“Hey, you. Get her.”
Coming undune she rush throught the complexe and they followed her. She rushed outside barely notice the grass and sky which she hadn't seen in a long time. She ran to one of the trees and climbed up. High in one of the branched she hopen none would see her.
The men looked around on the ground not finding her. Moving through the braches she looked over a tree near by. She could do it.
Moving to the edge of the branch, where it should have broke to her weight, she jump to the next tree. From there she began to move faster between trees. The men looked to be counfused as to what was cousing the noise.
“What is going?”
“What that?” the men shout at each other.
Father away from them she jumped down and ran fathered down through the orchared.
“Este.” A voice called. She looked back to find Jack.
He motioned to her and she walked over to him. Together they rushed out of the area. They came to a crop of rocks and slowed down. The others came out of behind it.
“What happened to you?” Damian asked.
“She was hidding. Weren’t you?” Jack asked.
Este nodded her head. “It seem they couldn’t see me. When I hid.”
“Yeah, she different.” Drake said.
Este looked at the others. Everyone seem to have grabed their backpacks and gym bags. Which she didn’t pack and forgot about. Different was an understatement. More like outsider. She still had no idea what her main gift was. If it was hiding then she was usless to the team.
She wrapped her arms around her.
“So what do we do now?” Jack asked.
“We do what we planed from the start. Observe and wait.” Damain said.
A growled roar sound throught the area. Those sitting got up and looked east to see what it was. There was nothing that they could see.
“Drake. Mark.” Damain asked.
Drake sook his head. What ever it was he could not see?
“Some kind of creature. Looking at what is out of place.” Mark told Drake. Drake squinted his eyes and looked around them. A hiss came out of him.
