"If you go to Payton's and I go with Carl you won't be able to come home for 7 months because no one would be home, and that's a very long time" my mom pointed out.

"That's alright" I said it's not like I don't like the Moormeier's, there basically family, and I love them.

My mom closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Alright" she said. I was shocked that she actually is letting me go.

"Thank you" I squealed pulling her into a hug. "You're going to have to call Joanne though and make sure to be respectful" I mom said seriously. "I know" I said with a smile.

"Alright then you go get situated and I'll go tell Carl" my mom said with a smile.

I wanted to surprise Payton so I'm not going to tell him about this.

I called Joanne and she was all on board with it. I'm going to be staying there for 7 months. Now I have to buy a plane ticket to North Carolina.

I bought a ticket to North Carolina and I will be leaving to go tomorrow at 4:00pm. I got my homeschool thing set up, I have a week before I start.

After that I decided to call Harper and tell her what's happening. She literally screamed of joy. I then decided to call Payton.

"Hey" I said with a smile. "Hi" he smiled back. He's so adorable.

"What are you up to?" He asked. "Nothing really" I shrugged.

"What about you?" I asked. "Same old same old" Payton respond. 

The conversation went on for about an hour longer until I decided I was going to call it a night. I placed my phone on my dresser.

"Goodnight I love you" I smiled. "Night Nova I love you too" he said returning the smile.

I got under the covers, turned the lights off, closed my eyes and soon drifted off to sleep.

The next morning I opened my eyes to the sun shining through my window. I looked over at the time, 12:28pm. I do sleep a lot.

I got up from bed and went to shower and get dressed, just what I usually do in the morning.

Once I was finished I went downstairs to get some breakfast. I made some oatmeal with some berry's on top.

"Good morning sweetheart" I heard my mom said once she entered the kitchen. "Hey mom" I smiled. "I booked a fight for 4:00pm today" I said.

"Okay do you need a ride?" She asked. "Yeah" I responded. "Okay be ready by 2:30" my mom said walking out of the kitchen.

I looked at the clock, 1:57, I gotta hurry up and pack.

I finished eating and I put my dishes into the sink and made my way back upstairs. I got a suitcase and started to pack clothes and necessities.

When I was finished it was 2:23. I just laid in bed and texted Payton on my phone for the remaining time.

"Nova it's time to go" my mom yelled from downstairs. I got up and grabbed my bags and headed downstairs where my mother was standing at the door waiting for me.

"Ready?" She asked. I nodded my head and we proceeded outside to the car. I put my bags in the back and we headed to the airport.

When we finally got there I got my bags and my mom walked me into the airport.

"And you're off again" my mom smiled once we made it into airport. "I guess so" I said with a little laugh.

"You're so grown up" my mom said pulling me into a hug. "I love you" she whispered. "I love you too" I smiled once we pulled out of the hug.

"Well you better catch your flight" my mom smiled.

"Bye mom" I smiled going in for another hug. "Have fun sweetheart" she said kissing me forehead. And with that I picked my bags up and walked into baggage check.

I had to wait a a little longer because my flight ended up being a little delayed but that's alright.

Once I was all seated and comfortable on my flight I put my AirPods in and waited for takeoff. I was starting to get used to flying. There was a women beside me but I didn't talk to her.

After a couple hours I finally landed in North Carolina. Everyone slowly but surely got off the plane.

I walked out and got my bags and went to get a taxi. I told them the address that Joanne sent me and I was on my way.

I'm really about to see Payton and he has no idea. God I miss him and I finally get see him.

I quickly texted Joanne to tell her I'm here and she responded that only Payton's home because, her and Faith were out shopping but, there's a key in the mailbox that she left for me.

I texted Payton and asked what he was doing but he didn't answer. I just shook it off and waited until we got there. I checked the time, 7:12pm.

Once we did I thanked the taxi driver and paid him. I grabbed my bags and walked onto Payton's doorstep.

I looked in the mailbox and found the key, I unlocked the door and quietly walked in. I heard music coming from upstairs.

Since Joanne said Payton was the only one home I came to the conclusion that it was Payton. I placed my bags by the door and made my way upstairs towards the music.

I got to the door and put my hand on the handle and slowly turned it opening the door. "Surpri-" I cut myself off. My eyes focused on Payton but also some random girl.

They where making out. What the fuck?
