Nova's POV:
Skip 3 days
"Come have breakfast sweetheart" I heard Joanne yell from downstairs.
"Mom I can't she's sleeping in my arms" I heard from who sounded like Payton.
"Alright" she responded. Then I felt a grip tighten from around me.
"Still can't believe what you did to this girl. She's literally perfect for you, and you fucked it up" A voice that sounded like Faith said.
"Language" Joanne said to Faith.
"Trust me I know, and I completely regret it" Payton sighed holding me close.
I rolled around and cuddled into Payton's warm chest. Payton and I had a movie night and I ended up falling asleep in his bed with him.
I ended up falling back asleep.
Once I woke up again Payton was no longer there and was replaced with a pillow. I turned around to see Payton slowly walking away.
"Payton?" I asked confused. He turned around with a disappointed look on his face.
"Damn it, I tried so hard not wake you up" Payton pouted stomping his foot on the ground like a 3 year old.
"What time is it?" I asked rubbing my eyes trying to wake up.
"1:12pm" Payton responded looking at his phone.
"Damn I do sleep a lot" I lightly laughed.
"You're just figuring this out? After all the days on tour of me trying to get you out of bed, you're just realizing this?" Payton asked chuckling.
"I mean you're not wrong" I replied with a smile. "C'mon my mom made pancakes a couple hours ago we can warm it up and eat it" Payton said holding his hand out for me to grab.
I groaned and grabbed it as he pulled me up to my feet.
We walked downstairs to the kitchen and Payton took out some pancakes and put then in the microwave while I sat up on the counter.
"Hey where is Faith and Joanne?" I asked.
"Their at my moms gymnastics gym" Payton responded. I completely forgot that Joanne owns a gymnastics gym. And Faith works there with her.
"Oh by the way, Jackson's coming for a week. His flight should land in about 3 hours" Payton said looking at the time.
"JACKSONS COMING?!" I asked exited.
"Never seen you that happy to see me before" Payton said acting offended.
"I've known you my whole life, nothing special about you" I sarcastically said.
"Ouch" Payton said holding his heart acting offended.
"I'm kidding" I smiled jumping down from the counter and pulling Payton into a hug.
"Better be" he said in a baby voice. "Weirdo" I laughed rolling my eyes.
Then the microwave beeped and we grabbed some maple syrup and ate the pancakes.
The next few hours we just sat in the living room and watched some movies.
I was cuddling with the dogs while Payton was posting on his stories and tiktok. I ended up quitting tiktok, I just didn't want to have to deal with drama and rumours.
"Hey Jackson going to land soon, and the airports like 30 minutes away. Wanna come with?" Payton asked.
"Does Jackson know I'm here?" I questioned. Payton shook his head no.
"Then yes, I'll hide in the back seat and surprise him" I said with a smile.
"Alright lets go then" Payton smiled standing up. I kissed all 4 of the dogs quick before standing up from the couch.
I went upstairs to quickly change into a different outfit. When I came downstairs Payton was playing with his keys waiting at the door.
"Ready?" I asked. "Leggo" Payton said opening the door for me. We walked out to the car and drove off to the airport.
Once we got there I got into the back seat of Payton's car and ducked down.
Payton got out of the car and waited for Jackson to come out of the airport. Once he did they did their bro hug handshake thing then got into the car.
"What music you want to listen to?" Payton asked Jackson. "I don't care as long as it's not country" Jackson shrugged.
"Dude, country is great" Payton said. "Nah bro" Jackson said. "No it's good" Payton argued. "It's not, it's the worst type of music" Jackson said.
"No it's not" I said jumping up from the backseat. I honestly liked country it's definitely one of my top 3 favourite music genres.
Jackson's jaw immediately dropped.
"Hi" I smiled holding my arms out for a hug. He had a confused look on his face but slowly hugged me.
"What the fuck? How-how are you here!" He asked in shock.
"Kid I've been here for like 10 days" I laughed. His took his finger and poked my face.
"Holy shit, wait you're actually here!" He smile hugging me once again.
"Why is no one ever exited to see me" Payton said throwing his hands in the air.
"You're not special" Jackson laughed. "Why do both of you say that" Payton pouted. Then Jackson and I pulled out of the hug.
"Hey I said I was kidding" I said putting my hands up in surrender.
"I'm just joking Payton, you're my little special bean" Jackson said quickly giving Payton a peck on the cheek. My eyes widen.
"Ew no homo" Payton laughed. "The gay couple no one knew they needed" I said laughing.
"Fuck no" Jackson said with a disgusted look on his face. "You literally just kissed his cheek" I said obviously.
"Nah Payton's stinky" Jackson said trying not to laugh. "You're stinky" Payton laughed.
"You guys are weird" I said laughing.
"That's your boyfriend, sooo" Jackson said. Both Payton and I stopped laughing and looked awkwardly at each other.
Then Jackson took a second and looked back and fourth and Payton and I.
"No" he said sounding completely shocked. "No my favourite couple, I worked so hard to get you guys together" Jackson pouted sliding down in his seat and crossing his arms.
"We're still best friends" Payton said trying to lighten the mood. "That not what I was going for" Jackson pouted.
"You know Jackson I haven't seen you even flirt with a girl" I said raising my eyebrows.
