"Today, we've been told that the president has shut down all funding and productions of this new technology that I.D.T. has created almost a decade ago. The keys they produced allowed everyday people to be transported to a whole new realm. We dont know much about the project, and hope that those people who have been sent to these other dimensions will be returned to us-"

Talia turned off the tv, tired of hearing the news. She sighs softly as she rubbed the sleep out of her light blue eyes. Her brunette hair was a tangled mess since she had just woken up this morning. "Man, what a stupid story. I swear, they make anything up just to keep a spot on the air for the news channel that isnt the weather forecast." She mumbles as she walked into the kitchen.

She made herself a cup of coffee and sighs softly, glad it was the weekend. She could finally take a break from work and relax. Talia was planning on just sitting and drawing in her sketchbook as she watched her favorite show as of lately, Hazbin Hotel. Yeah it was just one episode long, but she loved how anybody had an animal or demon aspect after they died and went to hell for a sin they committed.

So, just like any other fan of the show she drew her own oc of what she might look like in the Hazbin universe. For a while, she didnt know what to draw, til she chose what animal she would be. So she chose a fox and went from there. She was gonna finish drawing it today finally since all she had to do was color it.

Talia went and got changed into some comfy clothes and brushes her hair. Aftershe collected her art supplies and her sketch, she set her stuff up at the table and began to color her creation. But just as she finished coloring the last spot on her design, she heard a knock at ther front door.

"Who could that be?" She asks herself as she stands up.

Talia goes to her front door and opens it. She doesn't see anyone there. It was quite odd till she takes a look at her feet. There was a small package there with her name and address on it.

"That's odd. I don't remember ordering anything." She tells herself and picks up the box.

She brings it inside and inspects the package carefully. Nothing looked odd about it so she opens up the box and takes a peak inside. Inside of the cardboard box were three items. A mirror that could fit in the palm of her hand, a small key, and a strange leather bound book.

"Man, these all look like they belong to the Hazbin Hotel universe." She jokes with herself. She picked up the book and noticedthat it was locked up. She then noticed the key. Maybe it was the key to open the book. So she takes the key, the book and the mirror and brings them to the kitchen where her finished design of her drawing was.

Talia sets them on the counter and picks up the key. She then carefully inserts the key into the book and sees that it fits. Talia then turns the key and the lock pops up off the book. She opens the book up and sees nothing but empty pages.

"Who would send me a book with blank pages?" She mutters and was about to close the book, when she saw that one of the pages had some writing on it. It read as the following.

'One drop of blood is all you need, Upon this page that you must bleed.
Go hither on to another domain,
Now of which you must remain.
One year, just one, shall change your fate,
To return before your own death date.
Failure to return to the world above,
Prepare to loose all that you love.'

And, much to her surprise, there were multiple blood splatters all over the pages. Some look old, while others looked fresh.

"Is this some sort of prank?is someone trying to scare me?" Talia says as she looks around the room

"Is this some sort of prank?is someone trying to scare me?" Talia says as she looks around the room. "If so, haha, you got me. This ain't gonna work on me." She went and started to collect her art supplies and accidentally pricked her finger on an exacto knife that lost the cap again.

"Fuck!" She cursed and dropped her art supplies, clutching her hand to her chest. She was too busy trying to clean up her injury that she didn't notice that some of the blood landed on the page with the upside down pentagram. It had dried upon impact, almost as if it was never there.

After she cleaned up her injury and carefully put the rest of her things away, she locked the book back up and sat them in her bedroom. She went on with her day and soon, the hours flew by. It was almost noon and she was really distracted in watching videos in her bedroom when the blood started to glow a light purple. Her drawing which sat nearby it got sucked into the book.

Talia noticed the strange light and looked up from her phone. Her eyes go wide in shock and she started to panic. The book had popped open and a gust of wind started to suck in anything that was nearby. It was supper strong and started to drag the bed closer to the book. Talia was clinging to the bedframe as her small body started to fly towards the book.

"Why is this happening!?" She yelled.

Her grip onto the bedposts were starting to slip. Soon, she couldn't hold on anymore and her body flew straight for the book. A giant portal opened up just enough to let her body slip through. She vanishes into the black void, along with the book, the key, and the mirror. The room goes deathly silent as if nothing ever happened.
