Paakhi's POV
After that not-so-emotional drama, I get ready to meet Mrs. Shekhawat.
I leave my room to go to the kitchen to make myself a sandwich when I hear a scream from Adi's room. I sprint towards her room to see her sitting on her bed looking at the floor.
I walk towards her and anxiously ask, "Adi? Are you okay?" when she looks at me I expect to see tears in her eyes but instead of that I'm graced with her foolish smile. I sigh in relief and implore "Why the hell did you scream? And stop smiling like a freak."
Ignoring my comment she steps towards me, holds my hands, and starts twirling me around in circular motion. I intent to object but the thrill causes me to enjoy and We both laugh out loud. Feeling a little nauseous we stop and fall on her bed.
"So are you going to tell me the reason or not?" I ask slightly panting.
"Okay, so I got the call from Mrs. Moore and..." she halts,
"And???" I further pry but she doesn't speak for a few seconds "Quit being dramatic and tell me" I yell with anticipation.
"And she asked me to join from today!!" she announces once again jumping around.
"OH thank god! I'm so happy for you Adi you deserve this...." I too hop off her bed and hug her.
I'm so happy for her because I know she really wants to work in this boutique and how upset she was yesterday.
'Oh god! Thank you for this and all the other things. Always keep your grace maintain on us. ' I murmur.
"Okay you go get ready and I'll call Maanu to see where she is?" she nods and skip towards her closet.
I leave her be and step outside on our balcony to call Maanu and after talking to her I decide to make myself a long due sandwich.
When I enter the kitchen, I see Aditi in a remarkably professional outfit, Adi style professional, that consists of a black dress and a floral print red suit jacket and black gentlemen shoes.
I give her a once over and try the expression of lifting a brow but as usual, I can't do that and just hope Adi will get the message.
"What? " she asks defensively.
Oh, thank god she got it, "Nothing... But aren't you overdress? " I further ask with a slight tilt of my lips.
"Oh! Poo, You don't know anything about fashion," she replied shrugging me off.
I just shrug and walk towards the fridge to collect ingredients for my sandwich. But one thing struck me and that is, I tell her every time about calling me that name. But she never listens to me. So I repeat again "Don't call me that".
