athena didn't even know to to react or how to feel. this wasn't the first time something like this had happened. after getting off the phone the first time she quickly ran to the closet and pulled out a pair of clothes for sammy, matias and herself. she went to the storage closet near the living room and pulled out all the medical supplies she needed to fix sammy up. she neatly put everything in the bag and zipped it up by the door. she walked over to matias room and grabbed the emergency baby bag. which held everything matias needed. she was wearing red cotton shorts with one of sammys black tshirts, she didn't have time to change and threw on a random hoodie, which also happened to be sammys. as his scent hit her nostrils she realized that the love of her life could possibly be dead and here she is taking her time. but athena knew she was going as fast as she can.
she realized she didn't even know where she was going. she also realized that packing everything only took her less than five minutes, she quickly dialed sammys number again. once the call ended she was already almost to his house. she didn't realize she had been crying the whole time and she knew she needed to suck it up for the sake of sammy and matias. she pulled up into the familiar beige house and quickly shut the car off, and basically ran inside with the baby and the medical bag.
athena felt her whole world come crashing down the second she opened the door and saw sammys lifeless body on oscars kitchen table.
