I stared wide eyes at the now resurrected Dante. He still had the knife in his hand and was looking it over.

"So this is the damn knife that bastard knocked me unconscious with." He spoke with distaste as he flung the knife across the floor. Huffing he got up and turned towards the people from the lobby.

"Thanks for the save. Maybe I'll raise you're pay." The people chuckled and shook their heads.

"No need for that sir, we're glad to do our job" They started to go back to the elevator with staffs in hand. One of them turned back his eyes turned from me to Dante with a soft smile.

"Oh- and sir, you might want to clear things with the miss. She seems pretty spooked." He finishes off and joins the others in the elevator. The door dings with a close and I'm left with Dante and a whole lot of questions.

Dante picks himself off from the floor. Groaning he walks over to the kitchen, pulling open the fridge he takes out an orange juice carton and drinks from it. I pull a face at his actions. Since he had enough energy to come back to life, he should have energy to pour juice into a damn cup. After he finishes his drink he finally turns towards me with a raised brow.

"Well, come here. You want answers don't you?" He motions for me to come on over. Anger courses through me and I stomp my way over.

"Hell ya I do." I slam my hands on the island ignoring the still unconscious bodies of 'rouges' that were scattered on the floor. Dante smirks at my energy and closes the fridge after pouring a glass from me and sliding it towards me. I make a face at that but take the glass in hand nonetheless.

"Hold on a sec." He says and then walks back into his office. He comes back with the huge book from before. I cover my face beforehand just in case more dust decide to fly onto my face. Dante chuckles at my action.

"Don't worry, I dusted it off already." Relief floods into my and I lower my hands.

He puts the book on the island and opens it. Flipping through the pages he stops at one in particular. He then turns  the book towards me. I peer into the book and furrow my eyebrows. The pages were basically filled with diagrams. I look over to Dante for an explanation. He just nods and looks back at the book. I do the same awaiting his answer.

" I told you before that the memories of the first ever kill was embedded into the next generations of humans, right?" I nod.

"Well, the first demons that were born from the chaos were special" I look at him.

"In what way?" Dante sigh and continues.

"The first two demons were a boy and a girl. They loved causing chaos. Both of them were known all too well for causing disasters. However they had never met. They had both claimed one half of the world. It was a race at which one was better at reeling human towards the dark side. Since they were the first demons, they were immortal and unkillable" Dante shakes his head with a slight smile on his face, as if he had heard this story many times before.
