some say she is full of love
others say spiteful and cold
what i see is a mystery
a story waiting to be discovered and told
a smile waiting for everyone to know the truth
just knowing why they speak what the do is a mystery in itself
when you find who the culprit is
it's truly heartbreaking to find out they were close to you
how intimate your secrets were together
knowing the "truths" were really lies
and realizing not a single person agreed with you
it took months before they let you go
even when you were tried and convicted with innocent
such hate and mean things feels imprisoning
and when you're finally free, you realize forgiveness is the only way out
