Y/N's lips were formed in a pout as she sat in the small office of her and Harry's home. Hers happened to be much more clean than Harry's, up until today. Wedding binders, magazines, books, anything that held something to do with a wedding laid in front of her. Harry offered to pay for a wedding planner but she refused, she wanted it to be something special, to be just like how she had dreamed of it. Harry wanted it to be just how dreamed, he could care less if they married in a venue, on the beach, or in city hall, as long as she was happy.
Y/N sighed, looking at the watch on her wrist. She turned on the telly, switching to the channel that Harry's interview would be airing. Harry had informed he was attending the after party for a bit, but she didn't want to go, parties weren't her things and she had been tired recently. Her graduation had happened last weekend and she was tired out from the graduation party her mother had thrown, then the one Anne had, then the one Harry had, so Harry had understood.
"So you and Ms. Y/N are getting married," James smiled, showing a picture of the two.
It was one Harry had posted on his instgram, her arms around his shoulders, her chin resting on his shoulder, a smile on both of their faces, eyes bright and full of love. The picture was one of her favorites, it was taken on the sixth day they had spent together.
"Yes," Harry smiled, "she just graduated last weekend, so now she is on full on planning mood. Figuring out who's coming, and all. We want a small wedding."
"Are you helping with planning?" James asked.
Harry laughed, shaking his head, "no, no, it's all her. I'm not even allowed to pick my tux cause she doesn't want it to be crazy, I did though get to pick the napkins," Harry laughed, "so when you go James, make sure to tell her the napkins are the best thing."
"Out of the whole wedding, the ceremony, you want me to tell the bride that the best thing is the napkins?" James asked.
Harry nods, a grin on his face, "just tell her everything else is okay, but the choices in napkins really topped it off," Harry says.
"I think I want to live, but thank you," James says.
"They're good napkins! Really soft, picked the best ones," Harry says.
Y/N giggled, rolling her eyes. It was true, Harry had three jobs, picking the napkins, making sure to show up for his fitting, and staying out of the way. He didn't mind though, as long as she was happy he knew it would be amazing. Harry just couldn't wait until the day he could say 'my wife'.
"When's the date?" James asked.
"We have to pick a venue first, but Y/N actually wants an outdoors wedding. They're risky, but we don't want to say the date, we have a time frame at the moment. But one day, you'll hope on instgram and see the wedding pictures," Harry said as the crowd cheers, "but yeah, I'm excited."
"Do you know where you plan on living?" James asked.
"She's got a job here and LA, so we plan to stay here," Harry answered, getting cheers.
"Okay, well, tune in next week when we will have Y/N and Harry back to play the newly engaged game!" James says, making everyone cheer.
The rest of the interview is Harry promoting his album and she goes back to the books in front of her. A smile on her lips, this was happening. Y/N can't recall the last time she was this excited. She hears the door slam shut down stairs and she stands, running down the spiral staircase.
When she gets down stairs she spots Harry in the kitchen. His back to her as looks in the fridge, grabbing the blue water bottle Y/N had filled up. Last year Y/N claimed he used to many plastic water bottles, so she bought him four reusable ones. She filled them up and Harry took two to work every day, the other two remained in the fridge till her got home. He would fill up the other two and trade them out, and there were no more plastic water bottles.
Y/N jumps on Harry's back, her arms wrapping around his shoulders, her legs around his waist. Harry chuckled, stumbling forward a little, but he catches his balance. He sets down the water bottle on the island, his hands hooking under her thighs, a smile on his face as Y/N peppers his shoulders, neck, and cheeks, with a kiss.
"We're getting married!" She squeals, excitement in her voice.
"I'm a little concerned it took you this long to figure it out love," he says, as she jumps off of him and he turns, so he can face her.
"It's so crazy, I'm just-it's going to be you and me Harry," she smiled, her eyes warm as she grabs his hands, biting her lower lip, "I'm just so excited, by this time next year we'll be married," she's jumping now, all the excitement in her body takes over.
Harry smiled, amused by the sight in front of him. She's beaming with happiness and he's sure he's never seen her so happy, "I'm more excited," Harry says, leaning down to kiss her, "how was your day sweetness?"
"It was good," Y/N answered, walking to the oven and pulling out the plate she had kept with Harry's food, unwrapping the tin foil and handing it to him, "I narrowed my bridesmaid list down. Gemma's gonna be the maid of honor, Hannah," Y/N mentions her best friend, "will be a bridesmaid, as well as Amber, Lily, and Monica. Oh and then I narrowed it down to two places, I just can't pick, and then I cooked dinner and went to watch the interview, what about you?"
Harry sat on the island, picking at his food, "tiring, but I'm glad to be home with you, we forgot to invite James to the engagement party tomorrow, so if he asks the invite got lost in the mail," Harry says.
"That's my bad, I sent out e-vites and I must have forgotten to email him," Y/N frowned, "oh no. Was he mad?"
"No," Harry shakes his head, "he'll live."
Harry stands in the corner of the room, talking to James, but his eyes are focused on her. He can see how uncomfortable she is. Y/N was lovely, friendly, but she hated parties more than anything in the world, and Harry loved a good get together, and he never wanted to leave anyone out. So when the engagement party came by she was a little stressed, which was always hard to tell with her, because Y/N got so stressed that she was calm.
The problem was Y/N's family lived practically everywhere else besides LA. So the engagement party consisted of Harry's family that had flown out, and all his friends. Y/N was the center of attention, people grabbing her hands, asking about the wedding, wondering when it will happen, asking her where they plan to live.
Harry watched as Y/N spoke to Kendall. Even though Kendall was an ex of Harry's Y/N loved her. She had always been a fan of hers and the fact that they dated didn't stop Y/N's love for the model. Kendall was kind and Y/N trusted her. Harry watched Y/N fiddle with the ring, twisting it around her fingers as his friends talked to her.
"Excuse me," Harry smiled at James, "I'm just going to check on Y/N."
"Yeah, of course," James smiled.
Y/N keeps twisting the engagement ring as she bites her lower lip, looking at Kendall as they sit on the couch, Kendall is moving her hands as she talks to her, a smile on her red painted lips. Y/N laughs softly, grabbing a glass of wine and bringing it to her lips.

"Harry!" Kendall squeals, standing and hugging him, "oh I'm so happy for you guys!""Thanks Ken," Harry says, kissing her cheek and sitting next to Y/N

"Harry!" Kendall squeals, standing and hugging him, "oh I'm so happy for you guys!"
"Thanks Ken," Harry says, kissing her cheek and sitting next to Y/N.
Y/N smiled, leaning closer to him, "Kendall was just telling me that we should get married in Italy," Y/N says.
"Y/N really wants an outdoors wedding, here in LA, it's simple," Harry says as Kendall sits back down, "we want it to be as low key as possible."
"I just can't believe this!" Kendall says, squeezing Y/N's hand, "oh I can't wait to see your dress!"
"Gem, Anne, and I are going tomorrow if you want to come with us," Y/N offered.
"I would love to!" Kendall grins.
Harry kisses Y/N's cheek, trying to grab her attention, "I was thinking of something long sleeved but breathable," Y/N says.
"How big is the wedding going to be?" Nick asked, sitting down near them.
At this point it seemed like most of the crowd had gathered into the large common room, watching the couple. Y/N shifted, uncomfortable with all the eyes on her, "nothing too big, no more than two hundred, as of right now we only have seventy people on our list," Harry explained, "a lot of people are on tour, promotion, working, and Y/N doesn't like big crowds. So we're thinking imitated family, and close friends."
"Mmm, you can't do that, there is going to be upset cousins, upset friends, then it's who is going to bring a date, Kim tried to have a small wedding and it just didn't work," Kendall said.
"Yeah, my cousin tried to have a small wedding, it didn't work. No matter how much you try, and then there is the food, you got your vegans, your vegetarians, gluten free, allergies," Mitch says, holding up a finger every times he points something out.
"And drinks, open bar, not an open bar? Money isn't an issue for you guys, but do you really want to deal with the drunk guest? The ones that puke everywhere," Nick adds.
Y/N feels her stomach tighten and she wants to be the one drinking and puking everywhere at this moment. She nods along, faking a smile, "oh, and don't forget how crazy people can be, someone can crash the wedding, and an outdoors wedding? It can rain, everything is poof, damaged," Nick says.
"Outdoor weddings are risky," someone else pipes up, "it can be too cold, too humid, too rainy."
"Okay, why don't we all make our way outdoors? There's more food and I believe Ed said he would play a little something?" James says, pointing out doors.
Everyone starts to file out and Y/N takes her wine, sipping every last bit of it. She sets the glass down, turning to Harry, her eyes wide, "oh my god," she whispered, "I'm kind of mad at all your friends right now."
Harry chuckled, "sweetheart-"
"I mean they're right, outdoor weddings are risky, and the food, and it can't be small, we can't not not invite certain people," Y/N says, standing and walking back and forth, "I can't walk in front of everyone, I don't want a big wedding Harry."
"I know love, I know," Harry stands, holding her, "it doesn't have to be."
"But it does!"
"But it doesn't, listen. We'll have the rehearsal dinner as we planned, and then the next day for the ceremony it's you, me, my mum, Gem, Robin, and Mike, and your parents and sister. Then everyone who we planned to invite we can tell them to join us for dinner and the reception, we have our first dance with them, share the cake, they just miss out on the ceremony," Harry says.
"Okay," Y/N whispered.
"Okay," Harry agrees, "I'm going to marry you."
"I'm going to marry you," she repeats, the smile returning to her face.
