Cassie
We met Derek at some sort of warehouse. I looked around, confused as to why we couldn't just meet up at Derek's place.
"Where are they?" Scott asked. I looked at him confused, just like Derek did.
"Where are who?" He asked and Scott rolled his eyes, giving him an annoyed look.
"Peter and Lydia." I widened my eyes, sharing a confused look towards everyone. I put my hands up defensively, separating myself from Isaac's hold he had around my waist.
"Woah, woah, woah. Peter? As in-" My words were cut off by Derek. He sighed, nodding as he walked towards me. I gasped, taking a few uncertain steps backwards.
"N-No he's dead." I looked to everyone in the room. My eyes locking with Derek's.
"Right?" He didn't answer, confirming my fear. Peter Hale was alive and walking among the same grounds as us. And Derek didn't think to tell me.
"Hi Cassie, long time no see." I looked back and forth angrily between Derek and Peter, letting out a low growl to Peter.
"How's your mom and dad?" He asked, making my anger grow even more. "Still alive and breathing I hope?" He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
I couldn't hold back anymore. I growled as I charged at him, my eyes turning bright yellow as my claws and fangs came out. Lucky for him though Isaac and Scott were quick to hold me back. Isaac grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into his chest forcefully as Scott stepped in my line of sight.
"Screw you Peter! I hate you!" I screamed at him, the wind started to pick up and the lights flickered in the warehouse. Tears continuously rolled down my face as I tried to free myself from Isaac's hold.
"Let me go!" I cried out but he wouldn't, instead he walked us further away from the group so that I could take a breather and relax. Once we walked away, he stroked my hair, whispering small sweet nothings in my ear calming me down. The wind died down outside and the
I angrily shook my head at Der, turning on my heel and walking in the other direction to separate myself from everyone for a little bit. Isaac came and wrapped his arms around my waist, leaning down and whispered to me.
"What's your deal with Peter?" I tensed at his name, Isaac calmed me down. He asked the question carefully, not wanting to upset me.
"Cassie?" He called again when I didn't answer his question. I closed my eyes, feeling the tears pool in the basking memory.
"He was there when my mother died. He was there and he did nothing. He could have helped her." The words came out rushed and quietly as I took in a shakey breath. Isaac rubbed circles into my hip bone, pulling me in closer to him. I closed my eyes, leaning into him. The tingling feeling in my chest I've had all day, now gone.
We stood there for about twenty minutes, not listening to what the other people in the room were saying. Though I really wish we did.
Suddenly there was a quick buzzing sound in the air that was quickly replaced by a scream.
I whipped around, seeing Isaac fall to the floor as he was shot by three more arrows. My eyes widened as they landed on Allison who was holding her bow up.
"Isaac!" I quickly dropped to the floor as I yelled. I pulled the arrows out of him as Allison shot more in our direction. I desperately placed my hands on the ground, sighing in relief as I caught some sort of magic.
"Scutum." I mustered up enough strength to pull together the shield spell. Holding it in front of Isaac and I, not for long though.
I sighed as it disappeared and realized I'd have to do spells on my own, without siphoning. I groaned in frustration looking at the girl in front of us with fear and worry.
