Yoongi stood at the corner, his face red as he held his phone, looking down to see the contact, "Sunshine."

It was fitting.

Yoongi texted a quick, "Hey," and made sure the taller saved his number.

He took a deep breath and headed to the cafe for that day, Jin had offered him a part time job there a few years back and he took that offer.

"Good morning, Yoongi!"

Yoongi smiled, he wasn't too much of a morning person so one wrong word and he will not hesitate to cuss you out despite his soft looks.

Jin handed Yoongi his usual chocolate iced coffee, yoongi sipping at it and staring out the window

When he finished the bittersweet drink, he threw the cup out and went behind the counter hearing Jin's shout of, "You're on cashier duty!"

"Yeah, okay!"

Yoongi dealt with cashier duty, ringing up orders.

"Who the fuck orders orange juice at a Cafe?"

"And who the fuck dies from Love?"

Yoongi tugged his wrist back like he was burnt, the adult who ordered giving him an faked innocent smile, completely oblivious to the fact he just triggered Yoongi into his second panic attack that day.

Of course the grouchy Yoongi did get people that wouldn't deal with his sass in the morning but he was normally used to that, but the man had saw the tattoo.

Yoongi tried to head into the back and call for Jin but he was too choked up.

He never wanted to know how or when.  That would probably forever be the biggest trigger for him.

He tried to weakly open the door but it was pulled open by Jin.

"Yoongi?"

Jin pulled the panicked adult into his arms, "What happened?"

Yoongi held his wrist up to Jin, knowing that the elder male would know not to say anything even if it was his first time seeing it.

Jin sat him down on the floor because he was shaking, looking around, seeing the man who Yoongi was taking the order who's face fell from a cocky smirk to a concerned frown.

And by pure coincidence, Hoseok walked in at the commotion.

And oh how thankful Yoongi was

"Are you okay, now?"

Yoongi nodded, Jin had gave him the rest of the day off and Hoseok calmed him down.

Yoongi rubbed his scabbed wrist lightly, biting his lip.

Hoseok fortunately didn't say anything.

"C-can we get to know each other?" Yoongi shyly asked.

"Why? You interested?"

Yoongi flushed at Hoseok's tease, shaking his head.

"Don't get too attached to me," Hoseok warned, "I'm already worried about my best friend since he's pretty attached to me."

Yoongi nodded in understanding, Hoseok was trying to spare him emotional pain of losing someone.

"Come on, let's find somewhere quiet.  I'm tired of the city already."

Yoongi smiled, "It's loud, obviously."

"I'll go first, you know my name already, surname doesn't matter.  I like dancing and I'm a morning person.  I'm 20, would be 21 in uhh 11 months. "

They sat at a picnic table in the beach's sand, only a few yards from ocean water.

"About a year of possibility."

Hoseok nodded, "Yeah, that's okay.  I try to keep my distance normally."

"Any family?"

Hoseok was about to respond but a thought crossed his mind and he shook his head.

"I have my younger brother, he's finishing up senior year of highschool."

"How bout we change the topic, why are you so interested in me, hmm?"  Hoseok raised an eyebrow at the shy adult.

Yoongi gaped in panic at the sudden attention before saying the first think that came to mind, "You're hot! What the fuck is my gay ass supposed to do!? Ignore you?"

Hoseok chuckled, "I was kidding."

Yoongi's lips settled in a pout, crossing his arms.

Hoseok didn't hesitate to boop Yoongi's nose, "Okay, cutie."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Shut up.  You know my name, and that I have a younger brother.  Both parents are dead.  I'm 20 since yesterday.  As you saw already, I get pretty frequent panic attacks, I'm a night owl and I like music."

Hoseok nodded, admiring the smaller male in the sunlight.

Yoongi was oblivious to Hoseok's gaze are he turned his attention to the water, sighing.  "I wish we didn't have to know how or when we die.  It'd be better not to know.  I hate this."

"Yeah.  It ruins people's minds to be completely honest.  My mom practically disowned me because she didn't want to lose me so soon so she'd rather pretend to not know me."

Yoongi hummed, "it's like a set destiny we follow, it's unfair."

Hoseok nodded and they sat in silence for a few minutes before Yoongi broke the silence.

"You're nice, Hoseok."

"You got good taste in guys seeing as you noticed me," Hoseok joked, a half smile on his face. "You're pretty interesting."

Yoongi smiled sadly, "I wish you weren't on a time limit, we could be friends or something without hurting the other."

"We're all on a time limit, just some know when their time is up and some don't."
