"Sweetheart are you ready?" Yelled mum. "Yeah" I sighed as I shut my eyes tight thinking of all the memories we've made in this house and in this town. I shoved my pillow inside my suitcase. As I pressed my back firmly against the wall a tear ran down my cheek. I turned over and being the weird person I am, kissed the wall of my bedroom. I picked up my suitcase and the last box which was full of old pictures and friendship bracelets Koryn and I made. I will really miss Melbourne. I slumped down the wooden stairs. Seeing a familiar face I looked away, I don't want to leave her, I don't want to miss her... Koryn looked at me, her eyes sparkled in the sun and her face twitched holding back the tears. I stopped and dropped my things, running towards her for our last cuddle, the cuddle that means the most. "Koryn, you mean so much to me I am so glad that you are my best friend. Everything, you've helped me with everything. I will miss you alot, And I will never, EVER forget you. Thank you" I whimpered. "Thank you too, I will miss you so much and I don't know what I will do without you" she cried. "Abz we gotta go hun" screamed mum from the car. "Bye" I whispered giving Koryn another hug."bye" Koryn waved as I picked up my stuff and put them into the boot. As we started to drive off I looked back. Koryn fell to the ground in tears, she looked as if she didn't know what life was anymore, she looked lost. I lent back on my seat and closed my eyes boy life is going to change so much without her.

The car stopped at the airport. Planes came from different directions startling me at points. Mum opened her door then mine soon after. As soon as I stood out goose bumps grew on my legs. The cold six am sky was full of dull thin clouds. I sighed as I pulled open the boot and grabbed my bags. A whoosh of warm air stroked my cheeks as we stood inside the airport. People stared, they stared as we walked in. I sat down on on the blue chairs and fumbled with my hands.

___

We boarded the plane in silence, in shock... "24 hours on a boring plane ride next to god knows who" I sighed as I hugged mum. "Seeya Abby" she smiled as she sat down on her seat. "Bye" I replied as I walked down the aisle to find my seat. I sat on my seat, next to some blond haired girl. She was listening to music that could be heard from like the end of the plane which worried me since she was wearing headphones. "What are you listening to?" I asked as I fidgeted in my seat trying to alleviate the feeling of sitting on a block of cement. She looked at me and turned on her phone.. "That's what she said" I said confused. She gave me a dirty look. "The Janoskians. Listen" she smiled as she handed me an earphone. I took it and placed it in my ear.

Take take take take take take take it off

(That's what she said, that's what she said)

No no no no no don't ever stop

(That's what se said, that's what she said)

You know I want you, do you want me too?

I smiled to myself "these people seem funny."

"Yeah they are hilarious, i'm going to go see them tomorrow" She exclaimed

"Awesome, where about?" I asked

"LA!!" She screamed "they live there! They did live in Glenroy, Melbourne"

"Awesome" I grinned as I closed my eyes.

I woke to the rattling of the plane landing. I threw all my stuff in my back pack and clenched my fists as the plane stopped. Everyone stood up hustling themselves out the door. I could see mum standing near the door. I tapped her shoulder, she smiled. "lets go".

We grabbed our suitcases and headed to find a taxi. "So how do you feel about being in LA?" Mum asked as she hopped into the back seat of the taxi." Scared" I said as I shut the taxi door." Well you gotta get used to it because this is our home now."
