give your characters some personality! minor details really help form a character and make them more realistic.
- can't whistle (but wishes they could)
- runs a blog (cooking, cleaning, cats... anything really)
- wears hats/other accessories all the time
- scared of birds
- fears in general; clowns, sharks, raspberries, popcorn, let your imagination run wild!
- deep hatred for classical music
- terrible at diving
- only watches old movies
- has a lot of fishies
- desk/room is extremely cluttered
- doesn't like being handed things
- easily sunburnt
- constantly walks on toes
- always cracking knuckles/neck/wrists
- uncommon allergies
- hates brushing teeth
- always licking lips
- always applying chapstick
- laughs obnoxiously
- laughs at their own jokes
- salts all food
- flips things when bored (pencils, hairbrush, book...)
- brushes teeth more than twice a day
- likes to eat standing up
- would never eat pancakes
- dances constantly, even when there's no music
- looks like they're judging you when that's just their resting face
- always cold/always hot
- constantly slouches
- innocent/never understands 'that's what she said' jokes
- always looking over shoulder/behind doors/cautious
- always squinting eyes at nothing
- chews lip
- twirls hair around finger constantly
- doesn't know cursive
- always needs a plan
- carries a certain object everywhere they go (not like a phone; yo-yo, tape dispenser, chalk pen... idk)
- can't stop swearing
- gasps/is offended when someone swears
- nose always stuffy/constantly sniffing
- afraid of anything that flies (bugs, flies, bees, etc.)
- lucky number is 229,475,739,424,600 (just run your fingers across the numbers for a moment)
- has wheezy laugh
- hates people named Phillip and Ophelia (random names blacklist)
- attracted to people named Sienna and Scott (random name whitelist)
- can quote any movie ("that's from The Goonies!")
- knows every single mystery/murder case possible ("have i told you about the Cincinnati The Who concert stampede yet?")
use yourself as an example! i'm scared of sharks, i have a collection of snowglobes (i have to buy one every time i go out of town), i constantly flip things/toss tings around, i have a whitelist and blacklist of manes, and my lucky number is 3 but i despise 33, 333, 3333, and so on.
