The Legend
The legend that surrounds the clans' war. The rumored past leading to the divide in a species known as vampires. A war started by a selfless act and stopped by a selfish act by the same vampire. When a creature's actions amounted to being simply right or wrong.
A plague spread rampaging through the vampire race. The greatest leader of the Rootlies family leadership turned stale. The virus that affected dozens left the family beginning a long battle with their own kind. The virus eventually cleared much left bloodthirst driven mad. One living dead recorded to come back from the virus.
Now all vampires that reminded untouched hunt the virus ones. An attempt of fear to decrease the chance of being overpowered. The shell of vampires left by the virus feared to destroy the future if the leadership of the species existence was left to them. A great battle becomes the result of the most gifted and feared Rootlie to become a mystery of abandonment. The one who truly was their heir lost without a trace.
One day they will return to their place of leadership as the Rootlies heir. A great battle will return to the land with them. The heir's choice will decide the fate of the future to the vampire race. The history of the past will be revealed and the truth will be their justice. The land will become one breed of vampire. That breed depends on their's choosing a path for the future of the vampires. The pure or virus ones?
