Saturday and Sunday were.... uneventful to say in the least. So was Monday. You're father demanded to know everything about your experience with the Host Club after you came home from school on Friday. You spent the entire weekend writing an article for your father's newspaper and making a few drafts of character designs for a historical fiction romance. Monday after school was when the papers were being revised and reviewed for publication.

That means Tuesday was the earliest date you could go back to the Host Club after school. Your story you wrote was nothing less of positive. Of course, you kept Delilah's identity hidden, but you highlighted each of the hosts and what seemed to be their qualities. You found their official website for research and emailed Kyoya on Saturday afternoon for more infos.

But by far, the most highlighted hosts were the twins. Naturally, as they were the two you spent over two hours spending time with. You didn't put too much of your fascination and infatuation in your article, but you couldn't hold yourself back from unleashing your passion into the art of the written word. You only wondered how widespread the newspaper would be....

~🧡~

"Wait, (name) you wrote this?"

The bell just rang for classes to be over and students were already in their own social cliques. A girl whom you didn't recognize sprang up from her desk and leaned over yours, holding the newspaper in which you had the front page article on the Host Club in her hands. You used a picture of the club in its entirety that Kyoya supplied you with for a modest two-hundred hen. You shrugged, smiling.

"Yeah. I payed the establishment a visit on my first day and found it to be rather charming. I have it credit where credit was due."

"That's so amazing! Oh my goodness that's so cool! Are you going again today?"

"I plan on it, yes. Is there a reason or-"

"Oh no reason! Just curious. Oh! My name's Caroline."

First Delilah, and now Caroline. It's as if the author of this shitty fanfiction can only think of girl names that are from old songs that are absolute bops. Hey There Delilah And Sweet Caroline must've been the first two that came to mind.

Caroline smiles and then hurried off with the newspaper, joining her circle of friends as they leave the classroom. Will she be a prominent character in this story? You don't know. You never know. Regardless of her significance to the plot, she's out of the room. Now you're about to be out of the room, heading to the same destination: the Host Club.

~🧡~

You enter the room along with the rotation, having paid for your hour with a smile adorned on your face. You can see the twins just in front of you at the table, cleaning up after the last two guests with a look of dread on their faces. Oh? What was happening with them?

On your way over to see your beloved Kaoru and Hikaru, you ended up bumping into someone. Just before an empty teacup smashed on the ground, you caught it. But in the process you lost your balance and ended up on your ass. At least than the cup's safe. You manage to regain your composure and look up to see that brunette you noticed from before.

"Oh jeez. Hey, I'm sorry dude."

"Don't worry about it. I caught the cup you dropped, glad it didn't break."

"Thanks. You're (name) right? From that Newspaper Kyoya has been talking about all weekend?"

"Oh yeah, that's me. Sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm (name), they/them. Who are you?"

"Oh, uh. I'm Haruhi. I don't know if you want my pronouns but it's kind of complicated... I should go by he/him given the circumstances but I honestly just don't care. Boy, girl, makes no difference to me. It's cool to find someone who isn't really either."

"Yeah! So do you want me to use they/them pronouns for you too?"

"Sure, why not?"

"I have to go. I am a client of the host club after all. But I'll talk to you later, Haruhi."

You hand the cup back to them and head off towards the twins, who had already noticed you and have been watching you expectantly. Haruhi hurries off to do their own duties within the club. As you approach the table, the twins greet you in a fashion quite different than the one you got on Friday. Kaoru holds out the chair for you as Hikaru bombards you with the newspaper.

"Liked us so much that you had to write an article about us, hmm? We should be lucky you didn't leak a video of us trying to fuck you and your father in the presses."

"Wow, Hikaru, you're lucky nobody else can hear you, or else we'd get to punish you fore revealing a secret of the game."

"You'd like to punish me, wouldn't you Kaoru~"

"Oh hush, you know we don't have to put up that act around (name). The Fujoshis have left. Stop teasing."

"You're no fun."

Ah, fujoshis. You've heard of them. They are not as rare of a breed as one may hope. Those yaoi fangirls must watch up the identical twin lovers act. It would be easy to put on a show for them to get money. You allow yourself it sit down, Kaoru pushing you in with a kind smile and Hikaru slamming the newspapers down on the table gently. Don't ask how you can slam something down on the table gently. Hikaru just did it with his chaotic bitch energy.

"Kyoya's really happy with buisness recently. That article about the club has brought girls from other big name schools around."

"They're just as pretentious and starry-eyed as the girls here. Ever since that newspaper came out on Monday we've been bombarded. It's kind of annoying."

"I'm sorry. Dad was bugging me to write about the Host Club since I came here on Friday and since it was the whole reason I enrolled here. I wanted to investigate why so many girls stay after school here after all."

You've been to several schools, enrolled there for maybe a couple of days before dropping out. You preferred the private schooling you got from your parents and personal tutors anyways. They could travel with you and they worked on your terms. Best part: no uniforms. But you don't mind the uniforms here. Well, the boy's uniforms. The girl uniforms are fashion nightmares. Thst says a lot from someone who has visited America.

"But seriously, what's with the female uniforms here? They're ugly."

"I KNOW RIGHT!!!"

Hikaru slams his hands on the table, Kaoru getting a bored look that reads 'ah Shit, here we go again'. Looks like Hikaru is about to rant.

"They're so pompous and frilly when they don't need to be! How the entire dress is one solid color is very simple, but it is very tiring to the eye! And who chose that color? It makes every girl around here look like a highlighter when the teacher says to highlight the importantly parts of the page and that one bitch decides to just highlight the entire page! The sleeves are pointless and tacky and the pink bow on the chest is there for no reason! I don't understand why Ouran doesn't let Mom design the uniforms!"

"Your mom?"

"Our Mom's a fashion designer."

"AND ANOTHER THING!!! Why would they make the male uniforms blue and nice like we have with the crest of the school on the left, AND HAVE THE FEMALE UNIFORMS RESEMBLE IT NONE!!! Like, a skirt and blazer would look so much nicer! All the students would match better, they'd be much more comfortable, and you could customize your blazer more by adding pins and stuff! And to make it more diverse, thigh high stockings and a pink ribbon to rival out black neckties we wear! It would be so much cuter and much more uniform! The yellow dresses make NO SENSE!!!"
