I Don't Understand (Sasodei)

~ Ch. 4 ~

                     Deidara's POV

    When Sasori opened the door he pushed me in first and I'm surprised I didn't land flat on my face. I looked to see everybody staring at me. They all had a strange glint in their eyes. Sasori walked up and stood beside me. "You've all been ordered by Leader-sama to get acquainted with the newbie. So, be nice." Sasori said to everyone then turned to me. " I'll be in the kitchen." Sasori said, I nodded and he left the room through a hallway that was connected to this room. Everyone still stared at me. I felt a bit self-conscious. The one that I battled, Hidan, stood up and grabbed my arm, making me sit next to him.

    "How about we do a game of 20 questions?" Hidan suggested. Everyone nodded. "Okay, Itachi, you start." Hidan said.

    "Deidara, what is your gender preference?" Itachi asked me. "I, uh, I've never dated anyone, so, I don't really know...." I said, a little embarrassed. "So, you're saying that your a virgin huh? He-he." Hidan said, smirking, making me abit uncomfortable sitting by him. "Hidan let him go." Itachi said, noticing that I was uncomfortable. Itachi was next to me in a flash and he pulled me with him so I was now sitting by him on the floor, Hidan was pouting. Sasori came into the room then. "Come on brat. We're leaving." Sasori said, I stood up and I swear I saw Itachi go for my hand. But I quickly dismissed it and followed after Sasori. I heard someone mumble. "Sasori is turning the kid into a dog." and "He does realize he doesn't have to stick around Sasori." and "He'll learn."

                      * 2 weeks later *

    I sat on my bed thinking while Sasori worked on a puppet. Then there was knocking, hard knocking, on our door. I stood up but, Sasori answered. "What's the matter? Kisame?" Sasori asked. "Orochimaru has attacked a village." Kisame said. "Leader-sama wants you, me, Itachi, and Deidara to go scope out the scene and see if he is still there." Kisame said. "Let's go!" I said, not giving it a second thought as I rushed past the both of them.

    I put my hand in my clay pouch and made a bird. I pulled it out and made it expand. Itachi came outside with the others. "What's the rush?" Kisame asked. "The brat knows I don't like to wait." Sasori said. " I just want to get going, what's the coordinates?" I asked, Kisame told me, and we flew off.

    When I saw my old village was our destination, I picked up the pace as fast as I could and almost crashed as I jumped off the bird and landed on the ground. I took a look around and there was nothing. No buildings, no foliage, I saw nothing. I took off searching desperately for survivors. "Wait! Deidara!" I heard Sasori and Itachi yell. I searched frantically, looking for my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin. I stopped in my tracks as I heard heavy breathing.

    "D-dei-dara? Is that y-you?" I heard my Uncle's voice, I stopped dead in my tracks and looked to my right and saw my Uncle, laying on the ground, bleeding to death. "Uncle!" I yelled, running over to him and kneeling beside him. "S-someone h-help!" I shouted as I started to cry. "D-don't cry D-deidara." my Uncle said. "Who d-did t-this?!" I asked, angrily. "Or-ochima-ru." he said. " I'll avenge you Uncle. If it's the last thing I do." I said. "N-no. Y-you'll only weaken the s-seal. Go to the H-hidden L-leaf Vi-llage. A-ask for the H-hokage. And know this. I'm so proud of you, my Nephew." my Uncle said before he went limp in my arms. I screamed at the top of my lungs.

    "You need me. You want revenge. I shall give it to you! We shall kill the menace!" the voice said. "No! I won't give into you! I won't you can forget about it!" I yelled back to it.

    I was pulled back into reality by Itachi shaking me. I gasped and shook my head. They can't know what I have inside of me. No one can. This has been the largest secret of my village in the Land of Earth. "Deidara, who was this man?" Kisame asked. "H-he's my U-uncle." I said, still stuttering through my crying as I gripped his dead body. "You have to let him go. He's gone." Sasori said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "No! He's not gone! He, he can't be gone!" I said, shutting my eyes tightly. Still trying to suppress what's inside. It doesn't help at the sense of pain that I am feeling.

    "Release your pain! Only then can you be free of the nuisance who did this! Take your revenge for your family's death! There's no other way! Let me out! Let me out! LET ME OUT!" It screamed at me. I couldn't take it anymore. I lost it all!

                     Sasori's POV

    Deidara screamed and a reddish glow formed around his body, along with a strong gust of wind. "What the hell?!" Kisame said. "Don't tell me.....he's a Jinchuriki?!" Itachi said. We all jumped back, we knew there possibly couldn't be something that we could do to help Deidara in this situation. "What are we going to do?!" Kisame said. "Find a way to calm him down!" I said. "And fast!" Itachi said.

    We saw that not only did Deidara have the cloak, he also already had three of the tails. "What Tailed Beast does he have?!" Kisame said. "That doesn't matter now! We have to calm him down!" I said. "Don't attack him!" Itachi said. I rushed at him will Kisame and Itachi distracted him while I went behind him. "Release!" I said and the aura around him disappeared and he fell into my arms, unconscious.

    We found a lake nearby and we took a rest, waiting for Deidara to wake up. "How come we weren't told that he was a Jinchuuriki?" Kisame asked. "It's possible that Pein didn't know." Itachi said. "Pein would've deffinently known about this. He checks everything thoroughly before recruiting." I said. Somehow during our break, I ended up putting Deidara's head on my lap. "What do we do now?" Kisame asked. "We wait here for Deidara to wake up." I said and Itachi and Kisame sat down, and we waited.
