Friday, at 6 pm.

Bay was at Jaebeom's company like she had promised him earlier in the week.

She took a deep breath and held it for a few seconds before exhaling. It was a little overwhelming to know that the company was owned by vampires and her boyfriend was one too.

A vampire, and a major shareholder.

She wondered if he used up all his paid leaves in one go just to meet her and get to know her...

"Excuse me!"

The sudden voice that piped up next to her shook Bay out of her thoughts and she turned to look at the person.

"Can I help you?" She asked immediately.

A man in a black suit wearing dark shades greeted her with a smile and gestured to the doors of the entrance.

"Mr. Lim is waiting for you!" The man exclaimed the note of excitement in his voice rang clearly.

Bay raised an eyebrow and was about to ask how the man knew when he opened his mouth, showing the pointy tips of his canines.

Ah, he's a vampire.

The man, seemingly satisfied, grinned at her turned to head to the entrance holding the door open.

Bay nodded and obediently followed the man into the large building, ducking her head as she walked past him.

The company looked almost exactly as it was since the last time Bay was here. She smirked as she thought about how her current visit was drastically different from her last. Instead of being a fresh graduate looking for a job, she was nowhere to pick up her boyfriend, the managing director of the company.

"I'm Youngjae by the way, " The man introduced himself as they were waiting for the elevator. "Mr. Lim's been very anxious the whole day probably because of you."

"Ah... I apologize for distracting him from his work." Bay said, bowing her head slightly.

"Please don't apologize!" Youngjae exclaimed, holding his hand up. "If anything Mr. Lim is the one at fault," he said, laughing.

Before Bay could answer back, the elevator arrived and she was pushed inside, Youngjae's hand on her back.

"Don't be too surprised." Youngjae's commented, pressing the button for the director's floor. Bay raised an eyebrow but didn't question him further.

The elevator ascended quietly and neither of them said a word as Bay rocked back and forth on her feet, eager to see Jaebeom.

As soon as the elevator came to a stop and the doors began to open, a hand appeared in the crack forcing the doors open.

"Dear god..." Youngjae sighed, palming his face as he let out a laugh.

"Jaebeom?" Bay voiced out, staring at her boyfriend in disbelief.

"Hi, baby!" Jaebeom grinned, still holding the elevator doors wide open.
