Could This Be Love?

Chapter 3

"Hello beautiful girls, my name is Nick, that's my friend Cameron, and that's my friend Alex"

"Hi, nice to meet you Nick, Cameron, and Alex, my name is Samantha, that's my friend Sydney, and that's my friend Emma"

Sydney and Emma: "Hi"

"Are you guys here alone??"

"Yeah"

After talking to the guys for a while Sydney needed to leave because her dad messaged her telling her to go back home.

~•Sydney's P.O.V•~

After I dropped off Sam and Emma, it was 7:30 PM, i went home but that was a big mistake.

Once i entered through the door, it smelled like alcohol.

"Why dad??" is all i could think

"Dad, i'm home"

"Why are you home so late!!!"

"I'm sorry, I was with Sam and Emma"

"Why didn't you tell me!!!"

"Yes i did!! I asked you and you said yes you idiot!!"

Once i said that i covered my mouth

"What did you just say to me!!"

"I'm sor-"

I wasn't able to finish because he slapped me really hard across the face, i could feel my face burning.

He started beating me and once i fell to the floor he started kicking me.

I eventually passed out after a minute of getting kicked.

I woke up at 10:00 P.M. and of course my dad left me there on the cold floor.

I went to my room an put my dresser in front of my door just incase my dad tried to go in my room and beat the crap out of my again.

I laid down on my bed and started thinking how my life would be if i didn't live with my dad.

I wish i could run away, i mean i'm old enough to leave but i don't know where to go.

The next morning i woke up at 8 in the morning and i couldn't move.

I took the covers off of me an saw all the big purple brusis on my arms, legs and stomatch.

I tried to get out of bed and finally got out after 20 minutes of trying.

I went to the bathroom and covered up most of the brusis on my arms.

(The outfit she wore is at the begginging)

I stayed in my room most of the time. I texted him because i didn't want to see him.

"Hey dad could i go to Sam's house??"

"Sure"

"Thanks"

I got out through my window and went to my car. I drove to a gas station so my car doesn't stop in the middle of the road.

Once i got out of my car i ran to Sam's house.

*Knock, Knock, Knock*

Sam's mom: Hey Sydney, how are you??"

"Hello Mrs.Fields, I'm good how are you?"

"I'm good too, did you want to see Samantha??"

"Yes, could you please tell her i'm here to see her??"

"Ok, SAMANTHA!!"

"YEAH!!"

"SYDNEY IS HERE TO SEE YOU!!"

"OK!! I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!!"

Ouch, my ears hurt now

"Come in"

"Thanks"

I sit down on the couch and wait till Sam comes down.

"Hey"

"Hey..."

"Why didn't you call or message me??"

I pulled her upstairs and into her room. I lifted my sweater and showed her my arms and my stomach.

"Oh my god, Sydney, that's worse then ever"

"I know"

"Text your dad and ask him if you could sleep over"

"I don't know if he'll let me"

"Just ask"

"Ok"

"Dad, Sam wants to know if i can sleep over"

"Sure sweety"

"Thanks"

"Your welcome"

~•End of text message•~

"What did he say??"

"He said yes"

"Yay"

~•9:30 PM•~

I braided my hair so it wouldn't be knoted when i fell asleep, Sam gave me an extra toothbrush so i could brush my teeth.

I said goodnight to Mr. and Mrs. Fields.

I went to Sams room and thanked her for letting me sleep over.

I went to the guest room and once i laid down on the bed i fell asleep 'cause i was really tired and my body hurt really bad.
