"don't touch what's mine."

"𝘧/𝘯?"

"𝘩𝘮."

"𝘪 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶."

".. 𝘪 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘰."

"so, what happened to the firewood you were supposed to bring back?"

"oh, about that. red beanstalk and i decided to go makeout somewhere in the woods, sorry."

"e-eh?! i was just joking about that earlier..!"

"n/n-chan?! that seems so unlike you! did he do anything else to taint your pure little body?"

"really, f/n-chan~ didn't know you were comfortable enough in your relationship to do that yet~"

"neither did i. i was actually getting hit on and Satori 'heroically' swooped in to save me."

"some boyfriend he is to go save his princess looking like a princess."

"anyway f/n-chan don't say things like that, it makes us believe it because you're always so serious! it sucks that you don't take your relationship as seriously though.."

𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.

you lazily rolled over on the bed and stretched your arm in front of you, grasping onto the air that seemed much more dense now.

".. 𝑖𝑡 𝑠𝑢𝑐𝑘𝑠 𝑡𝘩𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠𝘩𝑖𝑝 𝑎𝑠 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑙𝑦 𝑡𝘩𝑜𝑢𝑔𝘩.."

those words replayed in your head like a broken record. it's not like it was wholly true- but you weren't denying it either..

you sighed and slowly sat up, it wasn't like you to be hung on these kinds of things. just trust your instincts, and trust your partner. there's a million things happening in the everyday world and above a trillion seconds to live up to, you have time. but why'd it feel like the gods were testing your love?

oh so you doubt my devotion now that him and i are together, kami-sama. you silently damned the gods for their plans, they're probably laughing at you now up in the heavens. your train of thought was disrupted by the click of the bathroom door opening.

"hey princess. i'll get dressed real quick and join you soon. anything you wanna do today?" Tendou appeared from the door, water dripping down from his hair and sliding rivetingly in the etches of his abs. all that covered him was a towel that seemed to have been hurriedly wrapped around his waist- daring to drop at any moment. (it's a good thing you're a master in the arts of self composure.)

"humm, no not really. ah, wait a moment my hair's a crow's nest." you got up and went looking for your hairbrush, though you were a little displeased when you couldn't find it where you last left it.
