I'm sorry, I forgot you,
Forgot to lie; forgot to hug.
Laughed at the mess,
We made together.
Justified the smiles, hiding our fears.

Tell me when to stop,
When we shared the skies of stars;
Under our blankets,
Under the shivering touch,
Running in meadows in midnight,
Laughing at stupid pranks.

Getting that feels,
Asking for a dance holding someone else,
The dance felt bigger mistake,
Inhaling someone else's scent.
Still fake smiles plastered out.
Tell me when to stop.

I clapped when you kissed the bride,
I tangled myself in someone's fingers,
You gave a look, displeased.
I looked at him and smiled, content.
He gave the look, love.
The atmosphere felt blunt.

Tell me when to stop,
When we created our worlds differently;
You and your lover loved theatres,
Me and my lover loved nosing in books,
We shared smiles when crossed paths,
You nearly fainted seeing my ring finger.

I felt high and miserable,
When he walked out of aisle, me left alone at altar,
You gave a look, proud.
He cursed back, sad.
I smiled leaving you two, disappointed.
Tell me when to stop.

When he made the runway spell true,
Leaving you in hatred, me in love again.
He promised me white roses while you gave dull sunflower.
He gave a penny for my thoughts you gave dollars for my misery.
He gave his world to me for my safety while you still didn't trust me in your bedroom.

Please tell me when to stop.
