Namit's POV
Listening to her melodic voice while she was wrapped in my arms, that's what heaven feels like.
After that fight, I wanted peace and here she is, my peace with me, laying her head on my chest while I was half laying on the bed and my little wifey is humming a song playing with my fingers at the same time.
I had no idea what she was trying to do, but she seemed so cute pressing my fingers and kissing them.
"What are you doing love?" My curiosity made me ask that question from her.
"Easing your pain," she replied while she was too busy with my fingers.
"Easing my pain?"
"Hmmm." She replied leaving lots of kisses on them. Turning her towards me, I looked into her eyes which seemed sad. Caressing her cheeks with my thumb I asked,
"What happened?"
"Nothing," she replied not meeting my gaze but I again made her look at me.
"Say it," I demanded.
"I was scared, thinking what would have happened if Jai would not have come on time and would not have shot Alex..." she didn't continue further. I kissed her on the forehead and hugged her tight and said,
"But he came on time, didn't he? And here I am fit and fine with my sweetheart."
"Now tell me what were you doing with my fingers?"
"You fought a lot today, and you must be tired, so I thought to ease your pain."
"I am fine. I am not having any kind of pain."
"But...."
"No buts and ifs," I said to which she made a pout and as always I kissed her making her giggle.
Ah! She is damn cute.
"Now tell me what will you be wearing on our reception day?"
"What do you want me to wear?"
"So you will wear anything I want?" she nodded innocently in response.
"Yes, in fact, I want you to choose my dress. Will you do that for me?"
"Of course, how can I say no to you my love?" I kissed her on her nose which made her giggle again. We were busy in ourselves talking, laughing, teasing each other when I heard a knock.
"Guys, can I come in? I mean you both are sober, right?" came the voice of my devil brother-in-law Kiaan and instantly Sama hid in my chest making me chuckle. She has been avoiding everyone except me since the evening.
Let me tell you guys what exactly happened.
Alex's bullet didn't hit me as Jai came on time and shot on his arm which made him lose his aim. Dharmesh grandpa decided to handle Alex himself first before he handover him to the cops so he told Jai, he will hand him over to him after he deals with him.
All of us went to Dhruv's home first, cleaned ourselves, and changed our clothes there as Smita Maasi doesn't know about us being 5 Ace and stuff and it's better this way only. We had to look presentable as we didn't want to put any kind of doubt in her mind. Everyone left early but I had to meet Xavier so I asked them to leave.
The moment I entered the house where I asked Kiaan to keep Sama and the rest of the family members safe, my love ran to me and kissed me leaving me astounded. I didn't respond for a while, but after a few seconds composing myself, I kissed her back. We both forgot about our surroundings but pulled back when we heard some coughing sounds.
Pulling back when we realized that we kissed in front of everyone, Sama hid in my chest, Hredhaan was not even looking at us, Dhruv's eyes were wide like saucers and Arjun and Kiaan were smirking.
It was Kiaan's and Arjun's idea to not let Sama know about my whereabouts, they were only trying to tease her but as a result, she got panicked. Uncle and Aunty were looking at anywhere but us and soon left from there.
Sama didn't move from there as she was feeling so embarrassed. I had to carry her to the room in my arms otherwise we would have been standing at that place till now.

"Come in," I said.
Kiaan entered the room with the same smirk plastered on his face. But I will surely make him pay for his deeds one day. I will pull the same stunt with the person he will fall in love with and that would be fun to watch what he will do then.
"I came to call you both for dinner."
"We will join you guys, you go."
"Ok, but are you sure? I mean after that incident earlier if you guys want you can have your dinner here itself."
I knew he was here to tease us only but before I could reply Sama threw a pillow at him.
"Looks like I offended you sister. But you know what, it's fun to tease you."
"I hate you Kiaan."
"You don't my sister." Saying this he left from there laughing. I thought Sama will deny to go and have dinner with everyone but she said she can't avoid them always.
"You sure you wanna have dinner with everyone?" I asked for the last time.
"More than sure, let's go," she said and pulled me from the bed. Although she was trying to act normal yet I knew how was she feeling. I texted everyone on our group on WhatsApp to act normal in front of her. I didn't want her to feel embarrassed at all. And about Smita Maasi and Uncle, Dhruv and Kiaan handled them, but to be honest they were quite cool with it. Otherwise, I thought my in-laws will kill me for kissing their precious gem in front of them.
As I went down with her, everyone was normal and grandpa had also come till then. We had our dinner peacefully while Arjun and Kiaan were passing some weird jokes.
After dinner, we went to our bedrooms and Sama's phone rang. It was Aditi and she went to the balcony to talk with her. I thought to scroll social media which I have not done from months till my love talks to Aditi.
There were lots of messages from random girls which I ignored. I got bored after some time and was waiting for Sama. I thought to go and talk to my friends. With that thought, I went out but found no one in their rooms. Where the hell everybody went? I thought to call them but then I thought Sama would have talked with Aditi.
I went back to my room and found Sama sitting on the bed. She didn't look happy. Sitting beside her I called,
"Sama."
"Namit, Aditi is going to Australia."
"Australia?"
"Yeah." I knew how much she loved her best friend and this was certainly not a piece of good news.
"But why suddenly?"
"She said she got a nice job there. She seemed quite happy and excited about it."
"It's fine, love. I will take you there whenever you wish to meet her."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
