"They call you princess?" Aiden's bright green eyes followed my every move.
I gulped, pulling a lose curl behind my ear nervously at his scrutinizing gaze. "Yeah."
"Queen is more befitting, don't you think?"

Tiana
As I sat at my vanity, I pulled out my phone and opened up snapchat. I had just put my swimsuit on and decided to take a couple pictures of myself to post. After taking a couple thousand, I chose one and edited it a little before posting.

I replied to a few comments that rolled in and made sure to remind Cam that he was nobodies father. After scrolling through Instagram a little bit, I got a text from Aiden telling me to come out.
Immediately my nerves flared up again, and I quickly threw on a cute swim suit coverup and some flip flops, before running down my stairs. Today was Aiden and I's first date since our breakup.
We had only mended our relationship a few days ago, and after talking non stop, he decided he wanted to take me out today. I was beyond excited to be going out with him again, but I couldn't help but feel nervous. I was scared to do the wrong thing, say the wrong thing, and mess something up. I was anxious, so much that these butterflies would not leave my stomach for a second.
My mom was on call at the hospital, so I had to make sure to turn on the alarm and lock the door behind me. As I walked down the driveway, I saw Aiden get out of his white lambo and come around the side of the car closest to me. When I finally met him, he opened the door wide.
He closed the door behind me and jogged over to his side, before getting in.
As I sat there playing with my fingers nervously, I could feel him staring at me, but I refused to look his way.
"Tiana." He spoke, his raspy voice making butterflies swarm.
I was acting like this was our first date.
"Hm?"
"Where's my hello?" He asked, sounded a bit offended. I finally turned to look at him and almost laughed at his scrunched up face.
"Sorry. Hi, Aiden." I smiled.
He scrunched his brows, "What was that?"
"Huh?"
"What kind of hello was that?"
I shrugged, "I'm confused..."
He looked me directly in my eyes, his stare never wavering. His scrutinizing gaze made me even more nervous, so I looked away, resulting to playing with the gold rings on my finger.
"What's wrong?" He finally asked.
I looked up at him, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, you actin' all shy and shit. Now showing me any love? I can't even get a hug?" He asked. "What's up with you?"
"Nothing." I sighed.
"Tiana."
"I'm really fine, I swear."
"I will not move this car until you tell me what's up with you." He said, turning the car off.
The spring heat immediately consumed the car, suffocating me. "Aiden, it's hot."
"I feel pretty good."
"I don't. I'm burning up." I exclaimed. "Can you please turn the car back on?"
He shook his head, "Not until you tell me what's up with you."
"Nothing is wrong with me!"
"You really gonna be stubborn right now? You know I will make us sit here all day in the hot ass car. Just talk to me." When I stayed silent, he sighed and reached for my hand. "Look at me."
"Tiana, look at me."
I raised my head a little, locking eyes with him.
"What did we say the other day? We were going to work on us and on trust. Part of that is not keeping things from each other, even our feelings." He said sincerely. "You said you would try, remember?"
I nodded, feeling bad that I was already breaking my promise.
"I'm sorry. I just..." I trailed off, looking out his window. "I guess I'm scared to do something wrong and mess this up. I don't want to say the wrong thing, or do the wrong thing and have you hate me. I'm just scared to lose you again, so I'm being careful."
I could feel myself begin to get emotional, and looked down at my lap, trying to keep the tears burning at the back of my eyes from coming out.
"Look at me, baby."
His fingers hooked under my chin, and tilted my head of towards him so I was looking directly in his green eyes.
"You don't have to be scared of anything. Everything is the exact same as before, we're just working on some things. That doesn't mean anything has to change. I'm still your man Tiana, and I promise I won't get mad if you kiss me today." He smirked and I chuckled a bit. "We can't be scared with each other okay? It won't get us anywhere. Just be yourself, like you always have been."
