minhee read, studying for his upcoming long test next week. ever since the crew got their needed budget, they went back to practicing. since the performance day is fast approaching, they didn't have time to slack off and this led to minhee not visiting yunseong during practices, he didn't want to distract the older.

"or maybe im the one who's distracted..." minhee mumbled to himself. he read the words emotions, heart, and 100 beats repeatedly, visualizing a specific scene in his head.

yunseong pecking his forehead.

"why did he do that? was it to thank me? but friends don't kiss each other." minhee asked himself.

'friends don't cuddle and flirt 24/7 either' his subconscious answered him.

minhee set his book aside, stressed. there were a lot of questions in his head.

does yunseong like him?

did that peck mean something?

why does he want yunseong to do it again?

"wheres mogu hyung when you need him?" minhee groaned, scratching his head.

3 days. it has been 3 days since minhee and yunseong last talked and the last thing he did was peck the taller's forehead and it drove him crazy.

minhee wanted answers. he wanted to know what they feel for each other. he tried to assess himself sometimes but there's a part of him that quickly denies the fact that he might have fallen for his best friend.

"i need a sign." minhee sighed and looked at his phone. "okay, if yunseong hyung texts or calls i'll talk to him about everything." he said.

half of him wishes his phone to receive a notification from the older while the other half wishes otherwise. 20 minutes passed and minhee felt convinced that his best friend would not bug him, not when they have practice.

until his phone vibrated.

"SHOOT!" minhee yelled, almost throwing his phone. he quickly turned it on and felt his heart palpitating.

hey, dongyun invited us for a sleepover this weekend. do you wanna come?

minhee didn't know what got into him but he just jumped out of excitement. later on he calmed himself down and replied,

sure. will you bring me there?

'what are you doing? of course he'll bring you. he likes you!' his subconscious said.

"i should stop hurting myself like this." minhee said and looked at the mirror. "although it would be a huge loss for hyung if he didn't have me as his boyfriend..." he unconsciously said then snapped back. "wait, what am i saying?!"

his attention went back to his phone when it vibrated again.
