"Beep beep! Beep beep! Beep beep!" I wake up to a loud alarm going off. Jonah groans and turns it off. I open my eyes and yawn. I sit up and rub my eyes. "Time to go to LA." I said as I look at him. "Five more minutes." He said as he closes his eyes. "Fine. I'm gonna change so don't look." I said as I get out of bed. I put on the sweatpants and sweatshirt the boys gave me on the first day. They're both really big on me but they're comfortable. I put on my shoes and I look in the mirror. I look like a bum but I don't care. I put my hair in a messy bun and look at Jonah. He's asleep still. I pat his back a little. "Time to wake up." I said. He groans. "Five more minutes." He said. "I already gave you five minutes. You can sleep on the plane." I said. He sighs and gets up. He slips on sweat pants and a sweatshirt, like me, and we walk downstairs. Jonah's mom, Jon, Esther, Jack, corbyn, Daniel, and zach are already eating their breakfast. "Where's Jenna and svea?" I asked. "They're still asleep." Daniel said. "I'm gonna go get them." I said. I walk upstairs and into sveas room. I see them both asleep, svea on the top bunk and Jenna on the bottom. I knock on the door. "Good morning." I said. I see them both roll over and look at me. "Good morning." Svea said as she sits up. "Go downstairs and eat." I said to her as she gets out of bed. "Okay." She said as she walks out of the room. Jenna groans and I walk over to her. "Time to get up." I said. She turns over and looks at me. I look at her and my eyes fill up with tears. I'm about to tell my sister, that I practically raised like she was my daughter, that I'm leaving her when I've been with her my whole life. "What's wrong?" She asked as she rubs her eyes. I sigh. "Me and the boys are gonna go to Los Angeles soon." I said. "And me." She said as she sits up. I shake my head and look down, not able to look at her. "You're gonna stay here." I said. "What?! What are you talking about?!" She asked, scared. "You're not coming with." I said as I finally look up at her. She's about to cry. "What about dad? I thought I was going to live with him?" She asked. "That's not gonna work." I said. "Why not?" She asked. I sigh. "It just won't, okay? Trust me." I said. "So you're just gonna leave me?!" She asked, getting upset. "You're here with Jonah's mom. You're safe." I said. "I DON'T CARE! I ONLY CARE IF IM SAFE WITH YOU! I NEED TO KNOW IF YOU'RE SAFE AND IF YOU'RE GONNA BE OKAY TO TAKE CARE OF ME!" Jenna yells as she starts crying. "Jenna..." I said. "JUST GET OUT! YOU'RE GONNA ABANDON ME JUST LIKE DAD DID! I HATE YOU! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN!" She yells. "What's going on up here?" I hear zach ask. I turn around and see zach and Daniel looking worried. "GET HER OUT OF HERE!" Jenna cried. Tears fall down my face. "Come on." Daniel said as he grabs my arm, helping me up. "No!" I said as I push his arm away. "I'VE TAKEN CARE OF YOU FOR YOUR WHOLE LIFE! I NEVER GOT TO GO TO HIGH SCHOOL PARTIES OR SLEEPOVERS OR EVEN PROM BECAUSE I HAD TO TAKE CARE OF YOU! AND YOU'RE GONNA YELL AT ME FOR ABANDONING YOU?! IF ANYONE IS ABANDONED HERE, IT'S ME! AT LEAST WHEN MOM STOPPED BEING MOM, YOU HAD ME! I HAD NOBODY! NOBODY TO TAKE CARE OF ME! BUT OKAY, YOU CALL THAT ABANDONMENT!" I yelled with all my breath, as I cried. Jenna's mouth is opened in shock. I've never screamed at her before. She continues to cry as Jonah walks over to her. I'm just so angry that I don't know what to do with myself. I turn around and see all the boys, Esther, Jonah's mom, svea, and jon looking at me as they stand in the door way. "Come on, Riley. How about we leave jenna alone." Jon said as I cry. I walk out of the room and run into Jonah's. I slam the door behind me and plop down on the bed. I cry into the pillow wishing all this bad shit would just stop. I can't help but think, WHY ME?! What did I ever do to deserve any of this?! My mom abuses me, I'm broke, my sisters father is a murder, I almost got raped, and now my sister hates me. I'm just gonna add her to the list of many people who hate me right now. I hear a knock at the door. I don't say anything so they just come in. "Hey, Riley." I hear Corbyn say. He sits next to me on the bed and rubs my back. "Tell me what's wrong." He said. I roll over and face him. There's tears all over my face. "Jenna hates me." I said. "She doesn't hate you, Riley." Corbyn said. "Yes she does!" I said. "Why do you think that?" He asked. "Because she thinks I'm abandoning her. I'm not abandoning her. I'm leaving her in a safer spot. Here." I said. "Jonah's mom agreed to it?" Corbyn asked. "Yeah. She said she's even willing to adopt." I said. "Wow. That's great." Corbyn said. "I know." I said. "But what about her father? Wouldn't he get custody?" Corbyn asked. "No. He's a murderer." I said. "What?" Corbyn asked, confused. "My mom told me. He tried to kill her and take me and Jenna as his slaves or something. That's why he has so many kids." I said. "What the fuck. Yeah, Jenna is definitely not going with that guy." He said. "I know! And then she thinks she can yell at me for abandoning her. I'm trying to do what's best for her!" I said, getting heated. "So, are you gonna stay here with her?" Corbyn asked. I sigh and shake my head. "I'm going to Los Angeles with you guys for your last show and then...I'm going home." I said. "What?! Like , home home?" He asked. I nod. "No, Riley. You can't go back." He said. "I have to. There's no where else for me to live." I said. "Live with me." He said, like word vomit. I look at him. "Live...with you?" I asked. "Yeah." He said. I sigh. "I can't. I don't have money." I said. "You don't have to pay rent, Riley. It's fine." He said. "No, it's not fine. I've been using your money selfishly for about a month or so. I'm not gonna do that when this whole thing is over." I said. "We told you, we wanted to pay for you. We wanted you to be on tour with us." Corbyn said. "I know. But that doesn't mean it doesn't make me feel awful about myself." I said. "I know. I'm sorry." He said. "It's okay. I'm just so fucked up in the head right now. I wish you didn't have to see me like this." I said. "It'll be okay. I'll help you out of this." He said. I look down and nod. Then I hear a knock at the door. "Come in." Corbyn said. The door opens and I see Jon. "We're about to start heading to the airport." He said. "Okay." Corbyn said. He looks at me. "Im gonna go get my bag. I'll meet you downstairs, okay?" He said. I nod. He gives me a reassuring smile and walks out. Jon closes the door and walks over to me. "You shouldn't have yelled at your sister." He said. "She deserves it. Never in a million years have I thought me taking care of her for my whole life would be unappreciated. It just makes me so freaking mad. I do everything for that child and the fact that she told me she hates me makes me even more mad." I said. "She's just angry. She doesn't mean it." He said. I nod. "Yeah, I guess." I said. "Well, I'm gonna go put everyone's suitcases in the car." He said as he walks out. I sigh. I wanna say goodbye to Jenna because I have a feeling I'm not gonna see her for a long time. But I don't want her to start yelling at me again. So I don't know what to do. I walk out of Jonah's room and into the hall. I hear Zach and Jonah talking to Jenna about me. "She's just trying to do what's best for you. You need to understand that." Jonah said. "I understand. But what about my dad?" She asked. I wanna tell her so bad but I'm not allowed. I feel like she would tell someone. "It's not safe for you there. I swear, you are safe here." Zach said. "But what about Riley? Where is she gonna be safe?" Jenna asked. "I don't know. But where ever she's going, she'll be okay. She knows how to take care of herself." Jonah said. I hear Jenna sigh. "So, you'll say goodbye to her?" Zach asked. "I guess." Jenna said. I run downstairs so they don't know I was listening. I hear them come downstairs. I look at Jenna and she grins a little. "I'm sorry." She said as she gives me a hug. I give her the tightest hug I've ever given someone. "I can't breathe." She said. Everyone laughs and I let go of her. I look her in the eyes and smile. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." She said. "Okay. The car is packed." Jon said as he walks into the room. "Okay. Did you say goodbye to everyone?" I asked her. She nods her head. "Okay. I'm gonna call you every night and make sure you brush your teeth and hair, okay?" I said. "I can brush my own teeth." Jenna said, laughing. I laugh. "I know." I said. I look over at svea and give her a hug. "It was so nice to meet you." She said. "Nice to meet you too." I said. Then I give Esther a hug. "Thank you so much for being so kind." I told her. She smiles. "Text me, okay?" She said. I nod. I give Jenna one more hug before me, the boys, Jonah's mom and Jon all get in the car. Jonah's mom is just driving us to the airport. Esther is watching the girls. We start driving and I lay my head back. "I'm happy you came to see our last show." Daniel said. "Me too." I said. "Yeah. I feel like it wouldn't be a show without you there, now." Jack said. "That's why you should live with me." Corbyn said. All the boys look at him. "Why? Do you have no place to go?" Zach asked me. "I'm going back to my moms house." I said. "What?!" Jonah said. "You can't!" Daniel said. "Yes I can. I have to." I said. "Guys, she said she wants to live there so let her live there. She knows how to protect herself." Corbyn said. "Thank you." I said. The boys are silent now. "I'm gonna miss you guys so much!" Jonah's mom said. "Were gonna miss you too." Jack said.
