Morning had came too quickly as Ivory walked sleepily down the corridors of HQ, a hot chocolate in her hand as she blinked the sleep out of her eyes. "Ugh...yesterday was brutal, but today is another day", she said with a slight smile. "And I'm here early, so that's a plus. Gives me some time to collect my thoughts".

She sipped her hot chocolate, allowing the liquid satin to coat her tongue and transport her away to another dimension for just a moment; until she was pulled out of her bliss by a chipper tone.

"Good morning Ivory! Are you excited to be working with Commander Whittington today?!", squealed Aubrielle, almost shaking with excitement.

"Someone's had their morning coffee", thought Ivory, before answering her superior. "Yes, I can't wait". Of course she was lying and still very angry from the events the night before.

"Oh goody! I'm off to get a hot chocolate just like yours Ivory! It looks splendid!", boomed Aubrielle, almost flouncing down the corridor.

"Damn, I want whatever she's taking before work", muttered Ivory, sipping on her hot chocolate once more before her stomach dropped at the sight of Officer Shears heading her way.

"Hopefully she's in a better mood today".

"Good morning you waste of human life", spat the platinum blonde.

"Or not", thought Ivory, rolling her eyes.

"I can't wait to see what else you mess up today. Who knows, maybe you'll take a bullet to the head or jump off a bridge. Either one is fine", laughed the blonde, her eyes pin pricks of a predator. She meant what she was saying.

"You know what? You need to back off and learn to treat others with respect! I get it, Westley was shot, but that's only because he went running off on his own and wouldn't listen to me", spat Ivory, finally digging her claws in. "And to be honest Priscilla, you probably only miss him because you aren't getting your daily cobweb clean in the cleaners closet! Not that all of the other male officers don't tend to you enough as it is".

The blonde woman suddenly gasped, but then laughed, "What do you know?".

"What? You think I'm dumb?", asked Ivory.

"No, I just think you're jealous you aren't getting any action. Then again, I don't think you've had any since high school and you're like what, twenty five now? That's REALLY embarrassing", scoffed Officer shears as spitefully as she could.

"Actually, I'm twenty three years old", bit back Ivory, crossing her arms.

"Well that's still embarrassing, but then again, you're not exactly a looker are you? No wonder they all run from you and come to me", laughed Priscilla.

"Yeah and no wonder I'm always hearing of people feeling itchy in places they shouldn't. You've probably got about twenty plus STD's, so no offence, but I think I know who I'd rather be, and that isn't you", smirked Ivory as Officer Shears turned beet red and stormed off down the corridor.

"I see you're popular with your colleagues", said Kira as she stood behind Ivory, the brunette turning to face her and taking a sip from her hot chocolate as she frowned hard at the red head for a little longer than needed. An awkward silence passed, Kira growing suddenly uneasy as Ivory threw her hot chocolate away and walked off in a huff.

Kira sighed and rolled her eyes. "So much for trying to be friendly", she muttered, a dark woman walking up to her in a full police outfit.

"Excuse me, do you have a visitors pass? If you don't you will have to get one or leave the premises immediately", she said, matter of factly.

Kira suddenly chuckled, making the woman pull a puzzled expression. "That's not necessary. I am Commander Kira Whittington from the sister location and Westley's sister. I was called here by the Carson twins to work with Ivory on a case that opened yesterday after my brother was taken ill".

"Oh my goodness! I am so sorry!", gasped Officer Blane, her amber eyes growing wide. "We don't usually get visited by outside workers, but if you're working with Ivory you're lucky. She's a lovely person and a very hard worker...though I'm afraid a lot of people are giving her a hard time since Westley was shot..".

Kira suddenly crossed her arms, looking to the floor, until the two were rudely interrupted by Officer Shears. "Ivory isn't nice nor a hard worker! It was her fault Westley was shot! She is incompetent at her job and a wast of human life! She should be fired and thrown behind bars for her negligence".

Officer Blane gasped in shock at those words, whilst Kira scowled. Hard. "And you, had better watch your tone before you're fired for bad mouthing your fellow colleagues!"."Tsk, who's this broad?", questioned Priscilla, glaring at Kira as Officer Blane looked as though she wanted to disappear.

"This BROAD", began Kira, "Is the Commanding Officer of the sister location".

Priscilla's face suddenly paled like her icy eyes, but she quickly gained her stubborn attitude, "Well whatever, I was only telling the truth!", she spat before walking away in anger.

"I'm so sorry about her. She has a fiery temper sometimes", said Officer Blane, looking rather embarrassed.

"No worries", laughed Kira, unfazed by the previous woman's stinking opinion. "Now, can you show me to the evidence room. I have a burner phone to look at".

"Of course, please follow me Commander", smiled Officer Blane, leading Kira down the long, blue corridors that was slowly filling with other Officers and Detectives of differing ranks. Kira looked at them and scowled as she saw most of the male officers flooding over to Priscilla. She was clearly popular, though the red head couldn't understand why. That woman was truly vulgar.

"Ok, it's just through that door. Good luck with your investigation Commander", smiled Officer Blane, Kira thanking her and walking in to the evidence room.

Across from her, she could see Ivory scanning the phone, concentration written all over her face, along with a hint of confusion.
