First I want to say sorry for the awful Introduction. I was by prepared to write this it's just something that came to me like my other story "Answers." Please please please vote it up if you enjoy this so I know if I should write the first chapter.

Though this story is totally fictional and non-descriptive, I put this story on Mature after reading Wattpad's guidelines, because it does or will feature alcoholism, substance abuse, and self-harm. It is totally okay for people ages 13+ to read this if you are mature enough to handle things like that as I am. If you do not feel comfortable reading things like this I suggest you don't read it. Please do not report this story it was put on mature for a reason. I hope you enjoy this story!

Penny was an average girl. She was starting 9th grade soon. It seemed all too real, but unreal at the same time. Everyone thought she would be dead by now. They never told her that but she knew. They thought it would be her father who would've done it, but she was more worried about it being her. She's struggled with depression and self harm for a long time. Everyone knew about her dad, and all of his abuse. He's an alcoholic and drug addiction who couldn't care less about his kid. No one ever asked about the cuts and bruises all over her body. It was funny to her. They all knew but no one ever said anything. Not even an "you okay?" No one ever saved her. They were all too afraid. She wondered. "What were they so afraid of?!" What might happen? Of her? Her father coming to get them? Her depression? That's probably why she didn't have any friends. For her everything is in her head. Penny rarely even spoke to her teachers. She had no one. She was all alone. Not a single person in the world cared about her. Not enough to get away from her father for the summer. Just. One. Summer.
