Alien Takeover

Part 4- Left Alone

As soon as she had pulled Jack into the shack he fell to the ground,
"I don't want to live anymore." he sobbed and sobbed. Nicole sat blankly, she wasn't sure how to comfort him.
"Do you want some food?" She questioned. Jack hadn't even in days, he wiped his tears away and nodded.
"We need to be fast." she ordered, "We have to go across an open field to get to my old camp."
They camouflaged themselves with camouflage cream and with the natural resources that they found around the shack.
"Be still if you see something moving." Jack sternly said.
"If an orb spots you run as fast as you can to cover, okay?" She also sternly said in return.
They creeped out the shack and slowly pepper potted (one after the other) their way to the open fields.
"You ready?" She whispered out to Jack. he nodded nervously. They laid down and slowly started to crawl into the fields: keeping as low to the ground as possible.
An orb was in the opposite field and was scanning for human activity,
"We have to hurry up." Jack whispered out in panic. They crawled faster and slowly started to build up momentum. However, this wasn't fast enough, alarm sirens sounded and alerted other orbs where they were. Three other orbs speed their way to their location, lights directed on them both.
"To the trees." Nicole screamed as she was already half way across the field, Jack sprinted as fast as he could into the woods. Nicole was no where to be seen. "Nicole? Nicole?" He whispered out. He was grabbed and pulled into a brush, it was Nicole,
"Shut up." She instructed extremely quietly. Aliens are being teleported into the field and in the woodland area that they were now in. A silhouette of a camp was just insight.
"Is that it?" He pointed quietly, she nodded quickly. A huge gust of unusual air was on the back of her neck, she slowly turned around and screamed. Jack looked into its white eyes and started to hyperventilate. Nicole had drawn the attention of several other aliens and they where now surrounding them. Nicole saw an opening and ran for it leaving Jack all by his self. He was grabbed by 4 of them and was teleported onto the orb, as he was teleported it all went black and he couldn't see anything.
