"I'm so sorry." Seven apologized, his eyes tearing up with guilt.
Brandi couldn't say anything back. She just continued to howl. They were like that for awhile, just hugging each other close. To afraid to let go.
Seven began to lightly rock her back and forth to try and calm her whimpers. After her eyes were done spilling and swelling, she pulled back but didn't dare look at Seven. Still to scared to.
"Brandi. Please look at me." Seven asked, his voice more gentle this time. Brandi looked up at him, and met his golden gaze. "I'm so sorry for yelling at you. You didn't deserve that. But know that, it's dangerous being with someone like me. I was only trying to protect you." Seven said, explaining is outburst to her.
"I don't care Seven. I know I'm stupid but..." she sniffed, "I just wanna be with you. I love you." She said, almost letting more tears fall.
"You're not stupid Brandi. And I love you too. But, I'm scared of putting you in danger." Seven said, tears beginning to fall from his gold eyes. "I want to make you happy. But, I can't. I couldn't even protect you."
"That's not true Seven. You did protect me. And all I need is you to make me happy. Nothing else. So please...let's just work this out. Please don't leave me." Brandi said tears falling from her eyes.
Seven grabbed both her hands in his, "I promise I won't leave you." They looked into each others eyes, admiring them.
Seven then picked Brandi up bridal style. She put her arms around his neck for support. He then carried her to the bedroom, and laid her down gently on the bed. He then laid down next to her. They cuddled each other and held each other close. Giving each other the love they needed.
