Maybe my smile is fake
And the light in my eyes isn't really here
But I still put them on
Whenever I'm not alone
Maybe it is all
Because I'm scared
That if I don't
Someone else will have to
You don't understand
I say nothing
Because I don't want
To be a burden
I don't bother you
Because I want you
To love me
For the rest of the eternity
I smile the brightest
Because I want you
To be able to smile brighter
Everyday for the rest of your life
I make jokes
So you don't notice anything
So you can be carefree
Like I never was
