Angelique landed outside of the village transforming into a human, pulling the hood of her cloak up to hide her face as she entered the now empty village. Angelique swiftly and quietly made her way to the manor in which she once lived, knocking on the door. Hopefully Anna is the one to answer. I know that Velkan would still be angry with me, for disobeying fathers orders about leaving the manor, Angelique thought to herself while taking the hood off her head unaware that the door was now open.

"Oh my god! Angelique is that really you," Anna asked snapping Angelique out of her thoughts.

"Anna, please forgive me for not coming back sooner. I tried, but Dracula wouldn't let me leave his side. Then I got to thinking about how you and Velkan wouldn't want anything to do with me," Angelique said.

"What are you talking about? Dracula kept you hostage. You had no way of knowing if you were going to make it out of there alive or not," Anna tried to reason with her sister.

"Anna, Dracula kept me under close watch, because he turned me into a monster. He had intentions f me giving him more young. He has not been successful in bedding me though," Angelique explained. "Look I fooled Dracula into thinking I would help him. But it was the only way that I could gain my freedom from him. But now that I'm free from him, so I can help you and Velkan find a way to kill Dracula and save our family from purgatory."

"You lie! I heard you tell Anna that Dracula turned you! You are not trying to use our family as her weakness against her. You don't want to help us kill Dracula. If he dies, then so do you," Velkan snapped taking a step towards Angelique.

"Glad to see you too, Velkan," Angelique said while rolling her eyes. "You go around talking as if I don't know what happens to me, if Dracula dies. I want to be able to find peace, Velkan. I don't want to be stuck with this curse any longer. That is why I am more than willing to find a way to put an end to this curse, as well as save our family. Please allow me that chance to make up for going against father's wishes. Speaking of father, is he here? I would like to speak with him and apologize for going against his wishes."

"Father hasn't been seen for some time now. He had gone out looking for you. Ever since nobody has seen or heard from him," Anna explained.

"It's my fault that father has gone missing," Angelique said.

"You're right it is your fault! Had you listened to father, then we wouldn't be in this mess right now. We would all be together trying to find a way to end Dracula," Velkan snapped.

"Even if I hadn't gone out that night, we will all be picked off one by one; until our family is wiped out and stuck in purgatory. That and I don't need you making me feel any worse than I already feel. Allow me to make up for my mistakes by helping you two. Allow me to help keep the both of you as safe as possible," Angelique snapped back at Velkan.

"I don't want your protection. Because the moment I turn my back to you, is the moment that you will feed from me and kill me off anyway," Velkan replied before walking away.

Anna watched in shock as Velkan walked away, before turning to her sister. "We can use all the help we can get. Though, you won't be able to go out in the day."

"Only when the clouds cover the sun, I can come out and help you both," Angelique replied.

"But the others that are like you, they too could go out in the day while the sun is blocked," Anna pointed out.

"I will be the one that deals with them. You and Velkan need to worry about staying alive and saving our family," Angelique said more firmly.

"Angelique, I can't ask you to fight off Dracula's three brides on your own. At least allow Velkan and I to do something to help you," Anna started to say.
