I'm Here (Klance)

Chapter 7

After what seemed like eternity there was a loud explosion.

"Come with us!" A masked person states extending his hand. I glare at him for a minute. "Its okay I'm on voltrons side." They state.

"Prove it!" I growl.

The person takes off their mask and the person before me looks like an older version of pidge. "The names Matt Holt. I'm-"

"Pidges brother." I interrupt. "How did you think to find all of us here?"

"Shiro." He answers.

"That traitor?! You fell for a trap then." I growl.

"Not that Shiro. The real shiro." Matt states. "Now if you want to save Keith we need to go now." He adds.

"Lance move your ass!" I hear pidge call.

"You know where they have keith?" I ask.

"Yes." He answers.

"Lead the way." I take his hand and follow him.

We slip into the halls and end up being ambushed.

"Dammit!" Matt shouts as he starts firing his blaster. "We cant stay here and play. We need to hurry."

"Lance we will hold them off you and matt head to keith!" Allura orders. She grabs a blaster from Matt's partners.

"Got it." I agree and sneak off with Matt from the hallway battle.

We make it to another hallway where we hear shouting.

"Fuck you!"

"That's keith!" I state.

"Get back!"

"That's shiro." Matt now states.

We rush to the door of the shouting and hear blasters and blades. We barge in to see shiro and Keith hiding behind a pile, Keith in shiros arms. The other Shiro making his way over to them.

Matt takes aim and shoots at the other Shiro, knocking him to the ground but only for a minute.

The Shiro hiding behind a pile looks to see us. "Matt!" He exclaims.

"Perfecting timing as always." Matt tries. We all scuff and roll our eyes.

I rush over to Keith and Shiro. "Keith!" I exclaim as I feel his warm skin. He looks up at me and all his galra features are gone.

"Lance." He replies back with a slight tilt of the lips.

"Where's your galra features?" I ask confused.

"Supressed for now." Shiro answers for him. "Less galra hormones the better for now."

"We need to move." Matt states as he manages to blast the fake shiro unconscious.

"Issue there..." Keith states and reveals a massive injury to his torso.

"What happened?" I demand to know.

"He jumped in the way to save me." Shiro answers.

"It doesn't look too bad." I lie.

"Lance,"

"Yeah Keith?"

"You're a terrible liar."

He starts having issues staying awake. I try to shake him a bit. "Hey don't you be passing out on us now." I try to keep him talking to me.

"I'm not passing out." He tries to argue with me but I can tell he doesn't have the energy to continue.

"If we hurry now, we can get him to the healing pods." Shiro states.

I nod and lift keith up in my arms.

We start heading to our exit point but I noticed Keith was starting to get heavier. I look and see he's passed out and isn't looking to well. "Shit..Keith hang on. Don't leave me now!" I try to hurry even more.

We run into the others. Allura gasps in shock. Hunk and pidge looked panic.

"We need to go now!" I order.

"Get to the exit point. Coran! Get the castle ready to go and fast." Shiro orders.

"On it!" Coran replies.

"Let's move!" Allura orders.

We head to the exit point. Everyone that needed evacuation was evacuated. We make it to the castle. When we are safely away I carry keith out to the hanger bay.

He feels and looks so lifeless. "Keith?" I try to wake him but his body is limp. I get no irritated groan. "God Dammit keith, wake up!"

The others come running. "Get him to the pod now!" Allura orders.

"I think we are too late." I reply trying not to cry.

"I have a pulse but it's so faint." Coran states. "We have a chance if we go now."

"Go!" Shiro orders.

I nod and follow coran to place keith in a healing pod.
