hey! it's me! the author! very nice to meet you.

"wow, is this finally a new update?" aha sad to say but no, it isnt.

i have decided to discontinue this! since:
1. it has been a year
2. i am not interested in tpn
3. i am busy

but!!!! to satisfy everyone, i have found old scraps of what i wrote from a year ago. so, i will give it to you, and let your imagination go wild.

"{y/n}! don't go!"

his voice made her heartache. {y/n} gritted her teeth as a tear slipped from her eye. he was the reason she was alive, but after all, she's done, {y/n} could never face him again.

"i..." she began. "don't deserve to be with you." her voice was shaky. her lost emotions were slowly escaping from the cage deep inside her heart.

her fingers wrapped on the gun tightly, and turned to the children, not making single eye contact.

"escape for me. if i die, i die. i deserve it."

"{y/n}," muttered ray.

"{y/n} please," started emma. "you don't deserve this! escape with us!"

"shut your damn mouth," muttered {y/n}.

the whole room went silent and backed away slowly. ray didn't move a single inch.

the tension between ray and {y/n} grew bigger.

"forget about it, ray. forget about escaping with me." the pain in her voice was evident. "you and the others escaping is enough."

{y/n} reached for the lever to the fire door.

she looked at the children with pity as her lips curled into a smile. "goodbye—"

ray dropped his gun and ran. yuugo tried to stop him, telling him it's dangerous, but he didn't listen.

he wrapped his arms around {y/n} tightly. {y/n}'s heart skipped a beat. she has always told herself, you don't deserve affection or love. you were a mistake, don't burden others again.
"i love you, {y/n}. don't leave me again, please."

{y/n} swore she would not show signs of fear or weakness, but being in his arms gave her a sense of security—something she's never felt during her time with peter. she never wanted him to let go.

she felt tears forming from the edges of her eyes. "i'm not worth it. i'm not worth your love or anything."

"you are worth it," whispered ray, brushing her hair. "you are more important than you think."

everything peter took away from her came back. the memories, the emotions, the joy— it's all back.

{y/n} dropped the gun and hugged him back. "i'm sorry. i'm sorry for everything."

ray's lips curled into a smile. "it isn't your fault. you didn't have a choice."

she cried unto his arms. {y/n} finally remembers what it's like to be loved, to live. her happiness and joy came back.

"ray," she mumbled. "do you have earplugs?"

"earplugs...?"
